Today we’d like to introduce you to Iies.
Hi Iies., thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
“iies.” was formulated from the idea of unifying perspectives through vibrational waves via visuals and sound.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The greatest struggles have come from trying to express oneself authentically in face of the music/art industry, the world, and the local community; interpersonal trials, trauma, and self-doubts have also been the main challenges in becoming “iies.”.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
“iies.” specializes in expressing vibrations visually and sonically, this incorporates art and music as of currently. Finding recognition within Denver’s local creative scene “iies.” is mostly known for showcasing mesmerizing illustrations coupled with experimental jazz rap.
The message of “iies.” extends itself into clothing, music production, animation, film, photography, editing, painting, illustration, graphic design, and live performances – making “iies.” a unique experience.
Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
Meditation. I find taking time to self-reflect on the past and acknowledging streaming emotions has helped to relieve anxiety, stress, and self-doubt in the pursuit of fulfilling my most authentic self.
