Community Highlights: Meet Noelle Simpson of Social Rite

Today we’d like to introduce you to Noelle Simpson. 

Hi Noelle, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I studied Advertising at the University of Minnesota and worked in Social Media Management for 3 years before starting my own Social Media Marketing Agency, Social Rite. When I moved to Colorado in April, I thought a great way to market my new company would be to grow my social following so I started making TikToks and taught myself how to use a camera. One of my first viral videos was a “Stranger Photoshoot”. Singles from all across Colorado applied and paid a 5-dollar application fee. I ended up raising over $1200, which was donated to DIPG research. I went through all the applications and matched up two couples, when we met up, they were blindfolded and I captured their first-time meeting on camera, during a couples photoshoot. Since then, my account has gained more traction and I have been working with household brands creating photo and video content and advertisements for their social media accounts! 

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
With starting a business, there is definitely a learning curve. I have had to teach myself how to use a camera and how to edit photos in order to offer high-quality content for brands. It also can be disappointing sending out hundreds of emails a week and not getting responses but for the most part, it has gone better than I expected it would have. I was even able to hire my first employee 5 months in! 

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Social Rite?
Social Rite is a Social Media Management and UGC agency. We offer everything from managing your social accounts to creating User Generated Content (video and photo) to running paid ads. It is a well-known fact in social media marketing that companies should be getting on TikTok, but oftentimes they don’t know where to start. We offer monthly video packages so companies can take advantage of the insane reach that TikTok offers users, without having to add a full-time position for this within your company. We do extensive research to find out what works for brands to grow on social media platforms and keep up with the quickly changing algorithms. 

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
In the future I see social media marketing becoming “traditional” marketing, so companies that are hoping on that train now will be ahead of the game. Outsourcing projects like this will cost companies less and you can hire experts in very specific areas, rather than this being just one part of someone’s job that works at your company.
