Today we’d like to introduce you to Luis Prado. He share his story with us below:
The Nova Kicks started off with Enrique and Luis (Lu) two high school students from Thornton, CO. who were never about the norm. This carried onto their music careers, not really fitting in. Not sure if we wanted to. It took a while but The Nova Kicks started developing a sound of their own, finalizing the lineup with Annie Kelly and Brandon Fierro. The chemistry of this band is intoxicating, almost addictive to watch. In whole what they are really doing is creating a rock and roll, Punk Revival but ‘Frankenstyle’
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
We weren’t very sociable I think that was part of why we were never in the scene. But I think what helped was that we were having fun up there and that’s what brought people to us.
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
We hopefully would be done with our day jobs and doing music full time. Our debut album will be out this year.
