Exploring Life & Business with Ana Bueno of BuenoSeeds

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ana Bueno.

Hi Ana, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to today?
My name is Ana Bueno. I was born and raised in Brazil and moved to the United States in 2001, studying business administration and marketing and culinary arts, and plant-based nutrition. I used many hats in the professional industry, from bartender to business owner. My services as a holistic nutrition coach help people be at their best performance with regenerative food habits. This year I started to organize retreats in Virgin Island, Mexico and Miami focused on wellness, and on top of that, I have a dairy-free cheese line.

In 2015 I realized my life was not harmonic. The action was needed. It was not an easy decision to make; however, my heart knew I had to shift 180 degrees, or I would sicken.

To make a long story short, I divorced, sold my previous business that had nothing to do with my passion, and took a sabbatical.

After my sabbatical, a career path was not yet clear to me.

Being raised with my grandparents for a large sum of my young life made me learn so much about natural foods, and I felt the desire to explore more of them.

One day while I was on a trip to Miami, my life partner Cam who knew about my passion for wellness and previous experience with food and hospitality, showed me a book from Matthew Kenney, a celebrity chef who had a culinary school worldwide, and suggest I take a look since I was searching a new career. I ended up signing up for the culinary art school. It was one of the best decisions I made in my life.

At a culinary art school, I learned how to make artisan aged cheese without dairy and started to produce them for myself, my friends, and my family. Everyone loved and encouraged me to adventure in a dairy-free cheese business. This is how BuenoCheeZe was born in 2017. Today, BuenoCheeZe is sold at Facebook Headquarters in New York City, groceries store in Miami, where I moved from, and online at

I fell in love with the food impact in our society at culinary school and wanted to learn more about it. I decided to study plant-based nutrition at eCornell with T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies.

Once again, my life changed. I embraced this regenerative lifestyle and lost 20 pounds without aiming for it. My skin started to glow. I felt better every day, confident that I was on the right path. I felt a call to commit to sharing this wellness knowledge with anyone interested in excelling. This is how my second business, BuenoSeeds, was born.

I guide people to reach their ultimate mind, body, and healthy performance, helping them meet their goals from the inside out with alchemy nutrition.

We’ve been impressed with BuenoSeeds, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Buenoseeds is a Concept that provides services that supports wellness and ultimate performance development with nutrition coaching. The process takes between one to three months, depending on the client’s desire.

After the food sensitivity test results and other information shared with me at the consultation, I can design an exclusive food alchemy nutrition for each individual based on their personal needs.

The way I do this is by combining different strategies.

During my studies, I traveled to Europe, Asia, and South America to better understand their culture, eating habits, nutrition and why their health stays for a period of their life more than people who live in the United States, I united my Brazilian roots and knowledge from my grandparents of food nutritional value and preparation of them from scratch, which really helped me bind the pieces of information I acquired from plant-based nutrition school at eCornell from Center for Nutrition Studies, along with years of diving in nutrition information from many doctors such as T. Colin Campbell, M.D., author of The China Study and Michael Greger M.D., author of How Not to Die; athletes known for exceptional performance such as Rich Roll winner of Ultraman marathon and Brandan Braiser, a former Ironman triathlete, creating an alchemy cooking using my executive chef skills from PlantLab Culinary Institute, created by celebrate chef Matthew Kenney, where I can combine food knowledge, to deliver nutrition found in compounds that are bounded in plants to enhance health and longevity with the best performance for ultimate wellness.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you expect to see over the next five to ten years?
I see this realm of wellness expanding and people getting back ownership of their health with nutrition knowledge, empowering themselves for a long healthy, joyful life.

There are several reasons why nutrition coach services can come in handy. The main besides losing weight is to help you gain control of your health by understanding food benefits and maleficence. You will be able to choose wisely what you feed in your body, health, or disease.

Taking control of how your body embraces health is a powerful tool to develop and, unfortunately, not taught at schools and many institutions. I can help by providing a holistic nutrition coach to facilitate your journey towards wellness and ultimate performance.
