Hidden Gems: Meet Annie Bennett of The Wellness Warrior Within

Today we’d like to introduce you to Annie Bennett.

Hi Annie, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I had a real estate career for 16 years and after great success, I experienced a great deal of burnout during that time about ten years in. It was in that burnout that I saw a lot of things I no longer desired to do with my life and I created a life where I could see myself helping others especially real estate agents through burnout, stress, and anxiety.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It was a really rough road during my burnout because I didn’t really know what to do. Burnout and not being able to do your work has really been looked down at and so I had a lot of shame and guilt that I wasn’t sure what to do with all the things I was going through. So getting my coaching/business consulting started because of the strife.

Since I didn’t know what to do or do I began to educate myself in a great many things about mental health and what it takes to be able to successfully leave burnout behind.

There has been a lot of wins with being able to help people become aware of the things holding them back and making choices to move forward. Watching someone take back their power is very encouraging to me.

The thing I do struggle with now is hustle culture is really a cool thing for people and it’s hard to get messaging out to those who are not ready to receive the message. Slowing down to speed up isn’t clearly understood to many at this point.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
I specialize in helping real estate agents, teams, and professionals overcome burnout and I teach them skills with proven systems that help them be able to learn to have objective skills to overcome the daily real estate adversity that come up. Our systems reframe flawed mindsets by ditching things like shame and guilt and teach them how to find the ability to nurture their mind.body.spirit.

That’s the technical thing I do so that people understand what I do but really what happens with my clients is when they learn my systems is they figure out their purpose and remember how to find the daily dose of joy. They are able to clarify some old mindset patterns that no longer serve them and adopt knew ones that allow them to trust themselves more in decision making and be able to attract their dream clients. The big takeaway is awareness.

My 5 step method process called Power Over Burnout is the 5 step cycle
Recognize
Reflect
Resolve
Evolve
Expand

What I teach is that this is a constant cycle in life. When we have troubles and burnout and a lot of stress usually they are moments that our body is telling us that it’s time to expand and so we get a plan out to be able to do this. Once you’ve been through the method, you’re gonna be able to recognize the next time it comes around and you’ll have to tools to be able to do it all over again to be able to gain the success you desire.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
I have quite a few people along the way that have helped me start this business and know my calling.

1. Holly Houseworth-Dechant who confirmed by ability to reach people and provide an objective outlook
2. Tania Diller – who helped me see that I have a gift to lead people
3. My business coach Kodi
4. Ashley Steen my spiritual coach

My biggest cheerleader is my mom Anastasia and my aunt Jayne and my closest personal friend who happens to be my sister Cassi.
