Life and Work with Isaiah Hasman

Today we’d like to introduce you to Isaiah Hasman.

Hi Isaiah, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I grew up middle class in a very small town with very little diversity and it was pretty hard to break out of a lot of connections I made at a young age that I felt were negative but I met the right people at the right time and things fell together and it led to me spending a lot of time on my craft and dedicating a good 2-3 years of my time and money trying to find good equipment to make better music. Everything led to me releasing more then 100 songs on all major streaming platforms in less than three years.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Unfortunately, I’ve had a lot of good friends with good intentions but most turned sour after me letting myself to be taken advantage of financially by them, which made things difficult. And a lot of things that should have been appreciated became expected and it’s something I’ve struggled with my entire life. Finding actual good people that care like myself. And have the work ethic to support my own life and help others. I am in a very good position as of right now though and am surrounded by good people

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am an artist – audio engineer – vocalist – producer. I got my own middle name BLUEJACKET. It’s on my birth certificate it’s Native American and goes back a long time, my grandma’s maiden name is bluejacket. I’ve always loved it as my middle name. It’s a great conversation starter. I am most proud of all the hard work I’ve put in as my own audio engineer and releasing over 100 songs on all platforms in less than three years. I feel as if I have a very diverse and unique style that sticks out and is very catchy. I’ve been told it’s hard to compare me to anyone in the industry so far.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
My parents were always very, very supportive of anything I ever did. My videographer c biscuit has gotten me a lot of attention in certain areas and has helped me grow my base. My friend smiley definitely helped me by giving me a boost on audio engineering as well.
