Meet Bill Ross, Fit The Mindful Trainer in South Denver

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bill Ross.

Bill, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I was an athlete growing up and after graduating high school, my passion for fitness and wellness only increased. I became certified in 1992 with my first fitness trainer certification and began training immediately. I started training athletes and former athletes. After ten years I realized that behavior change and corrective exercise were the most important things that I could educate my clients about. So, I became certified in behavior change and holistic life coaching, as well as, becoming a nutritionist. When I combined the knowledge of fitness with nutrition and behavior change my client success rate went from 60-70% to 85-90%. This has lead me to be able to refine my business and add one on one Yoga training and guided meditation, which has helped my clients immensely change their lives for the positive.

Has it been a smooth road?
The road has mostly been smooth over the past 27 years. Some of the hurdles were building an online presence and a few economic dips.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
I have been helping clients exceed their goals for over 27 years. I strictly work one on one with my clients. This enables my clients the ability to really open up and focus on the mental and physical changes needed.

I specialize in getting results by overcoming the obstacles YOU have developed over the years. I use my 27 years of knowledge of personal training, health coaching and nutrition to design custom plans with achievable results every time.

I am proud of the fact that I have helped 100’s of people change their lives for the positive. Every client is special to me and they all become part of my fitness family.

I am very proud of the fact that I was one of the first 10 National Academy of Sports Medicine(NASM) fitness trainers to become certified as a NASM Master Trainer. I am also proud to have been awarded Best of Denver for personal trainers in 2015 and 2016, as well as, a featured member in the March 2018 Idea Fitness Journal.

What sets me apart from other trainers is not only my education and experience but also my personal touch.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Yes, I do feel that Denver is a good place for the fitness and wellness industry. I would recommend them to start in Denver because the need for qualified wellness professionals is growing everyday.
