Meet Brennan Moore

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brennan Moore.

Hi Brennan, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My history with storytelling really began in childhood. I grew up with three sisters and no brothers, so unless I wanted to have tea parties and play dress-up all day, I had to get creative by myself. I would come up with elaborate adventure stories with ongoing journeys that would resume at every solo session. I didn’t realize it at the time, but these stories would only keep my interest if I could come up with something meaningful.

I was exploring the foundations of storytelling without even realizing it. Eventually, when my parents let us use the family camcorder, my sisters joined in. That’s when my passion for putting stories into images truly began because I could finally share these fictions with others. As time went on and I developed my skills in creative writing, editing, and filmmaking, I became the kid who everyone went to for group projects involving videos.

In college, I pursued my passion for storytelling further, getting a degree in digital filmmaking with an emphasis on screenwriting. After graduating, I produced contract work for churches like Denver United here in Colorado and freelance engagements, weddings, and social media spots for companies like Armadillo Hat Company. A large portion of my contract work has involved photography as well, including headshots, pregnancy photoshoots, engagements, and graduations.

My passion for storytelling extends beyond video production. Recently, thanks to all of the covid craziness, I finally completed two fantasy novels that I began writing in high school. I hope to have The Bane, the first book in what will be a four-book series, published early next year. Aside from the immeasurable value in terms of discipline and the skills I developed from writing/rewriting those projects over the last three years, I believe those books were something that God called me to write.

One of the personal challenges I have had to overcome in order to be an effective writer is dyslexia. I hope that in the future, my story can inspire other young people not to give up on their dreams even when they sometimes seem impossible to achieve.

My heart for conveying stories through the medium of story writing and video production, my desire to advance the kingdom of God with the gifts He has given me, and my experience with directing, photography, and editing have given me the confidence to follow my passions. I am two months away from marrying my college sweetheart Greta, and I’m excited to see where my story leads me next.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Some of the struggles I’ve had to face along the way are overcoming dyslexia, doing long distances with my now fiancé while writing/re-writing my book, The Bane, and finding clients to get my production company off the ground.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
All of my work falls under creative storytelling. Both of my novels are fantasy, narratives. The photography and videography I practice tell the story of a wedding, engagement, product, or service. My work is known for its diversity, quality, and genuine emotion.

From content for churches and fundraisers to tattoo artists’ social media spots and sports inspirational videos, I am willing to take on any challenge to grow my skills and brand. Recently, I added myself to the Knot and Wedding Wire under MoorePictures to capture my client’s special moments and make something beautiful out of them.

Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
The best way for people to collaborate with me is to reach out by email, call or message me directly through social media. You can find all of my socials and contact information in the “about” section of my portfolio linked here:

The best way to support my work is to recommend me to friends or family looking to bring their business or product to the next level by creating a high-quality promotional video.
