Today, we’d like to introduce you to Daniel Colombo. Daniel was introduced to us by the brilliant and talented Kye Pirrie.
Daniel, thank you so much for joining us today. We’d love for you to bring our readers up to speed – can you introduce yourself and share your story?
Started doing media as a hobby, enjoying taking photos to capture the moment and making dumb little videos for the memories. Started out with snowboard photography, then eventually fell into automotive photography. That eventually fed into motorsports photography. Then I started to want to do videography within motorsports. Dabbled in it for a while before a friend came to me and said want to do this for living? Took the leap and said yea! Then as time passed, my skills increased and became more refined. Started working with more professional teams and drivers. In turn it translated into scoring some decently high payout contracts throughout the week!
Please tell us more about your brand, Push the Limits Media
Push the limits media focuses on pushing the boundaries of a sport, of a job and most importantly yourself. What we do day in and day out can be lackluster. Why not change that? The clients that hire me are going above and beyond or needing that push to go above and beyond. Pushing themselves and myself to limits we haven’t found before. Whether being an opposition to dominant forces in motorsports or pushing a product the world has never seen before. Not being constrained to only editing at home, an event can be shot and edited by the time I get to the hotel and have to leave for my flight. Being efficient while being on the road is the goal in mind. I have the equipment and technology to edit, export and upload content while on the move. I aim for 24-72 hour turnaround time.
So, as we mentioned to our audience earlier, you were introduced to us by Kye Pirrie and Eleven One Three and we really admire them and what they’ve built. For folks who might not be as familiar, can you tell them a bit about your experience with Eleven One Three.
Kye has been a dream, angel in disguise and a mentor to me! He has helped me rebrand my business to cater to the niche community I’m involved in! He has helped me immensely with social media content consulting! He has taken hours out of his week to sit down with me talk to me over the phone on game plans on how I should be doing things! He has honestly helped my confidence on a personal level and business level grow! Before I walk into a meeting for social media marketing or content development with a company, through Kye and his lessons and talks with me, I can confidently walk in and make the pitch!
