Today we’d like to introduce you to Eriq Hochuli.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Eriq. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I began in education, teaching summertime art classes at Foothills Art Center. At the end of the summer, I began transitioning to exhibitions work. It was at this time that I felt I had found my true calling in the art world. Building and designing exhibitions for FAC has been an extremely fulfilling experience. I look forward to bringing more exciting shows to our community and all the interesting conversation that will bring.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Non-profit operations always struggle with money. Finding that stability has been a long and continuing struggle for us. This was compounded by numerous turn-overs in staffing. It was not until 3 years ago that under new leadership we found our stride and began to cement our role in the future of our community.
Please tell us about the Foothills Art Center.
