Meet Gracie Chambers

Today we’d like to introduce you to Gracie Chambers.

Hi Gracie, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Thanks so much for having me! My name is Gracie Chambers and I am a brand strategist and business mentor. My entrepreneurial journey is a unique one. I started a city-pride clothing line when I was 17 years old, which grew into a company that sold t-shirts, golf polos, tank tops, hats, croakies, coozies, and a whole youth line. We sold products online and were in six retail stores when I sold the company two years later. But my entrepreneurial journey did not end there! I had developed the marketing and brand strategy, visual identity, and website for my clothing business on my own. After the sale, I began to get inquiries from local small businesses asking for my help. This was how my current agency and consulting firm was born. It was organic. I offered marketing and design services to small businesses all throughout college and into my corporate career here in Denver.

After college, I spent some time at a major financial services company, helping them with marketing and branding. Unfortunately, during my time there, my health went into a downward spiral. I then made the decision to take my marketing business full time and Gracie Chambers Consulting was born. Today, we are a team of four, and offer holistic brand strategy and design services, along with business mentorship for those in the health and wellness industry. After the diagnosis of autoimmune disease and Lyme disease in college, I have made it my mission to help those in the health and wellness industry scale their business and to empower all entrepreneurs to run their businesses with balance as a focus.

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No! Definitely not. I went about my entrepreneurial career in a very backward way. Starting a business before college was a great experience, but I did a lot of things wrong. My biggest mistake was doing everything myself. I had no balance in my life and ran myself to the ground. Would I change it? No, because it taught me so much about burnout, health and balance, but I do make it my mission to encourage entrepreneurs to build businesses around the life that they want to live, not the other way around. In my consulting business, we have scaled quickly, but not without growing pains. All businesses have them! My biggest struggle has been quieting the noise within my industry to create space to be creative and be an innovative thought leader within my space.

As you know, we’re big fans of Gracie Chambers Consulting. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about the brand?
At Gracie Chambers, our mission is to help brands and service providers in the health and wellness industry thrive so that the industry as a whole can grow in power. We believe in the power of natural healing and intend to use our gifts as businesswomen and designers to support those within the movement. We offer 1:1 business coaching for entrepreneurs, consulting for small businesses, and brand and web design services. We know that creating beautiful and functional products and services is not enough anymore, which is why we offer business mentorship and design services all under one “roof.” Every designer on the GC team has a marketing and business background because we know that good design does not always convert. We create beautiful, sophisticated, and elevated brands that are designed to build brand loyalty and drive sales. The health and wellness industry is booming, and as barriers to entry continue to lower, it’s more important than ever to stand out. Through business coaching and consulting, we offer individualized support to entrepreneurs looking to break through the noise, scale their business, and build authority in their industry. We take a holistic, individualized approach in all that we do and love nothing more than helping entrepreneurs build powerful brands and thriving businesses.

Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs, or other resources you think our readers should check out?
I’ve found that meditation and staying grounded in my faith has helped me succeed and stay balanced as an entrepreneur. I love the Headspace and Calm apps and try to use them once a day. I try not to consume too much content through social media and blogs in order to stay creative, but I do love podcasts like “How I Built This,” “Girlboss Radio,” and the “Goop Podcast.”
