Today we’d like to introduce you to Kristine Eckley.
Kristine, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I am a 10+ year recovering drug user, who found health and wellness sitting at a desk being a paralegal. I had always loved law and aspired to be a lawyer (as well as a hair stylist–at the same time) but I grew out of that after being a legal assistant for so long… and after I got laid off, I knew that was the universe telling me that change was necessary.
I had begun dabbling in health and wellness “stuff” as I started along my own journey of losing weight and getting “happy.” I decided to start sharing the products I had had such success with and joined a network marketing company. I also began my at home yoga practice, which blossomed into a beautiful relationship. This was also the time I started reading and learning about the law of attraction, and I began putting it to use.
I graduated yoga teacher training in July, and by November I had taken over a studio in Arvada. We do kickboxing, yoga, cycling and so much more. My desire to help others along their journey is like a fire burning inside me. The studio is just the starting point, I aspire to be a life-changing coach, a public speaker, and general influencer.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has most definitely not been a smooth road. Self-development is so much more than girl time and massages. I have dug deep, into the raw emotions of my being. The ups and downs of business are not for the weak. But my passion to keep helping people is what keeps me going. Countless struggles of self-worthiness and of feeling inadequate; sleepless nights; early mornings and late comings; membership drops; marketing/advertising fails… But none of it compares to the satisfaction I have in my heart when I see people succeeding!
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Palangi Fit – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Palangi Fit is a one-stop shop for your boutique style fitness needs. We have a wide variety of group fitness classes but with the at-home vibe & comfort. We specialize in kickboxing but are very proud of our growing yoga program and also provide indoor cycling classes, boot camps, weights, and hit. We are most proud of our incredible community and believe that is what sets us apart from our competitors; although we do believe there is enough for everyone to be successful!
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
We are really looking forward to the collaborations with our community partners this summer and bringing new packages and programs in the near future!
