Meet Stephanie Fleck of Party Girl Events in Vail

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Fleck.

Stephanie, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I moved to Vail in 2013 for a promotion with The Ritz-Carlton. I was a manager for The Ritz for 8 years, and I’ve worked and lived in Philly, San Francisco, Tucson, and Atlanta. I’m a city girl at heart, but I love Vail so much, so instead of moving to the next Ritz-Carlton, I decided to pursue my passion for Wedding and Event Planning! After I went through the CWEP (Certified Wedding and Event Planner) process, I launched Party Girl Events!

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s been easy overall! I love what I do! I started Party Girl Events at the right time, and we got really busy very quickly. I was lucky! My experience at The Ritz made for a smooth transition into my new business.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Party Girl Events – what should we know?
I’m the only certified Wedding and Event planner in Vail besides Joanne Moore.

We specialize in weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, and social events like destination birthday parties and bachelor/bachelorette parties. We service Vail, Breckenridge, and Aspen. I’m the planner for Vail, Lisa is the planner in Aspen, and Nikki is the planner in Breckenridge/Keystone.  It makes a big difference when the planner is local!

What sets us apart is our above and beyond service.  Good customer service/hospitality is a skill that has to be learned and developed, and I’ve taken what I learned from The Ritz, and made it the foundation of my business.

I’m proud of our reviews! Every year, we win The Knot Best of Weddings and Wedding Wire’s Couple choice award.

It’s not all about making things pretty for me, but I am really proud whenever our work is published in a national magazine or blog.
