Today we’d like to introduce you to Sara Mahjoub.

Hi Sara, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Hi there! My name is Sara Mahjoub, and I am a Senior Travel Planner with Middle of the Magic Travel, an Earmarked Authorized Disney Vacation Planner specializing in Disney destinations. I am a Florida native and a transplant to Denver. I grew up going to Walt Disney World.

In 2013, my husband and I were married at Disney’s Wedding Pavilion, and besides getting an awesome groom, I also developed a love of vacation planning. With 80 wedding guests flying in from all over the world, I delighted in coordinating hotels, dinner reservations, planning group activities for all of us, and finding little ways to make our guests’ visits more magical. I was hooked.

I went on to plan our honeymoon. We became Annual Passholders, and I visited as often as I could. I planned romantic trips for my husband and I, fun “Just The Girls” days, and I even made several solo trips. In late 2013, I found out I was pregnant with our first princess- and so I began learning how to navigate the parks pregnant! Once she arrived, we started taking day trips with our little bundle, and I got to know the ins and outs of Walt Disney World with a little one. When Princess #2 was on her way, and we were on our way to Denver with all our belongings, I knew I couldn’t let all the first-hand knowledge and experience I had amassed go to waste. So I became a Vacation Planner!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s been challenging to raise my family and grow my business at the same time. I began as a stay-at-home-mom with two little princesses under two. It’s been a slow growth. But one I’ve been proud of.

I believe you make your own good luck. I have worked hard and sacrificed to make my business successful. I have managed to grow my business while also raising my two little girls, and I’m very proud of how far I’ve come.
