Hi Gabriella, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I began matchmaking full-time five years ago. I had always been a natural connector and always loved fixing people up, but it never occurred to me that it could be my full-time profession. When I started, I figured it would be something I did temporarily, or on the side while I got a job in say finance or marketing, a “real” job.
Within weeks I had several clients, and that made me realize how incredibly vital service this can be for people- people who don’t like being online or are too busy for the effort it takes, or don’t get the opportunity to meet other singles out and about, but who really want a partner. Soon enough, helping people find love became my everything. Every day feels to me as exciting as the first.
No matter how many dates I’ve set, or matches I’ve made, I’m always eager to know how the next one goes and I truly want to make each client overjoyed.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
As with any small business, I needed to create the correct dynamics for collaborations and the like, as well as find the right operational systems. But with matchmaking, you deal with people’s hearts, and so there is a kind of human tenderness that makes what you are doing distinct.
There are a lot of different kinds of delicate situations that can come up when you deal with people’s love lives! It took me a couple of years to have faced all the major questions that can arise in this work and know all the most elegant solutions.

Keeper Introduction Services is a matchmaking firm. We help singles meet great candidates who could be their right romantic partners. Our motto is “We Find: You Keep.” We do a custom search for each client and set up the dates. We also offer a lot of great advice on how to meet and connect to a strong match, encouraging and guiding people on how to do their part in formulating lasting, fulfilling relationships.
We typically work with clients anywhere from 25 to 75, and we work nationally, though Denver, LA, SF, NYC, and Chicago are our main markets. We work with straight men and women (and refer out to the best in the business for LGBTQ matching.) We are extremely proud of the integrity we implement. If a client wants something that we don’t think is realistic or healthy and isn’t willing to hear us out, we simply turn them away. Many of our clients have gotten married to an introduction through us. Others have said that working with us really opened up who they were so that they could then find their mate. We listen and we care.
Mostly, we believe that love is life’s greatest treasure and everyone should enjoy it. People work with us in two ways- they get on our client list and we actively seek matches for them, or they simply enter our free network and are available for us to set up with paying clients or refer to other matchmakers whose clients we like for them.
