Hidden Gems: Meet Ashley Ruffer of The Hot Sauce Realm

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashley Ruffer.

Hi Ashley, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
For as long as I can remember, I’ve wanted to run a hot sauce shop.

When the pandemic hit, I realized that many small businesses needed assistance, so we jumped into action and bought as many small-batch, small business hot sauces as we could find!

From then, we decided we wanted to promote the sauces and sell them as well! Now we are a retail company and have every sauce you crave!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Hot sauce has definitely invaded our inside and garage fridge and at any given moment we have around 100 different open sauces. We pride ourselves in having the best tasting hot sauces available and if that means us having to try 10 different hot sauces in one night then that’s what we’ll do.

We currently have two locations in Fort Collins for all your hot sauce needs and have over 100 small-batch hot sauces available from Colorado and all over the country. We have three heat levels to choose from and everything we carry has an amazing flavor first then comes the heat.
