Today we’d like to introduce you to Breca Natt.
Hi Breca, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
Lorraine Joubert Boutique began in 2015 originally as “GLO Artistry”. I had no idea, nor any intention on establishing it as the business it is today. That particular time in my life was one filled with consistent depression. I was working for a prestigious fortune five hundred company in the Denver Tech Center but felt like I was making no real contribution to the company or to myself. Each day I was longing for something to call my own, little did I know that is called “purpose”. I was not working in my purpose or towards it, and that needed to change immediately. Makeup was an easy in for me and slowly I began working as a makeup artist. I was receiving bookings across Colorado, but ultimately knew I was just trying to “keep up with the Jones’s”, as the saying goes. There was no real passion for that, but I kept searching myself. I knew that there was a deep need in me to make women feel better than just good, appreciated, but I wanted to create an overall “experience” for women. I was completely lost how to create an experience organically and authentically. I decided to pray. I prayed that God would provide the purpose I needed to do something magical in this world, but also that he do something magical in me. God answers prayers because Lorraine Joubert Boutique not only came to fruition but has fulfilled me in ways I cannot articulate. For the last 5 years, I have been designing my first ever bomber jacket collection RIVAL. The RIVAL collection is inspired by the various NFL uniforms and team colors from the past, present, and future. It has become, to me, the perfect merge between fashion and sports. I love that it will be size-inclusive, and every woman will be able to join in on the creative process, truly making L.J.B.’s RIVAL jackets one of a kind and unique to each customer. I am elated to show everything I have been working so hard on, and would very much like to thank you for this prestigious opportunity to share my company with the world. This is Lorraine Joubert Boutique; Style with no apologies. – Breca “Lorraine” Natt
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Too much is given, much has surely been required. It has not been a smooth road, financially, emotionally, mentally, or physically, but I love that. I do not believe anything should be given to easily. I want to work hard for my dreams so that my dreams sustain year after year. My goal and the goal of Lorraine Joubert Boutique is longevity.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
Lorraine Joubert Boutique is an online store that places an emphasis on unparalleled, unrivaled, unsurpassed, couture-inspired fashion, without the couture price tag. My website is www.lorrainejoubert.com, and I am currently launching my “RIVAL” collection. This is a collection of fedoras and custom embroidered bomber jackets inspired by the 32 NFL team uniforms. What sets L.J.B. apart from other online stores/boutiques, is our inclusivity. I strived to create a store that embraces women of all body types, heights, ethnic backgrounds, and provide a customer service experience unlike anyone they have ever had. My brand is très magnifique! My brand is original, and I am beyond proud of Lorraine Joubert Boutiques perseverance. It has been hard in an industry that is flooded with repetitive online stores and merchandise, not to mention pushing a business during a pandemic, but I know that L.J.B. is supposed to be here. Originality will always be the focal point of my company. Lorraine Joubert Boutique is in fact an online store but is able to service Coloradans without the online mess as well as we have opened a small location in east Arapahoe County. I hope your readers get to know Lorraine Joubert Boutique, and what it is we stand for. I would love and greatly appreciate your support, but want your readers to know that I am not phishing for sales! Our esteemed customer service and experience will take care of that for us.
What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
I see my industry continuing to grow over the next 5-10 years. I believe that major growth will happen and that growth will be in a positive, innovative, fun, way. Lorraine Joubert Boutique and our RIVAL collection will be a big part of that positive, leading, trend.
