Daily Inspiration: Meet Elly Schott

Today we’d like to introduce you to Elly Schott. 

Elly, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My passion for hair goes beyond the craft. Being involved in the industry for nearly a decade has been a blessing. My connection and friendship with my clients makes me feel like a superhero in so many ways. When I can bring light to their inner beauty by doing what I love, I feel whole and truly joyful. I take tremendous pride in giving the very best experience from start to finish. 

I attended The Paul Mitchell Academy in Denver and from there launched into a beautiful career at some incredible salons. Now, landing me at Goldie and Bob Hair Salon in the River North district of Denver, Co. Being a part of a brand that is evolving with such grace is an incredible path to be on. Can’t wait to make each of my current and future guests feel like they are having the ultimate “Hair Party” 

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I try and focus on a very “Glass half-full lifestyle.” Any career can toss the occasional curveball as you enter into a snew space, make new friendships and grow both professionally and personally. So grateful for any obstacle course that I’ve come across because it makes me stronger and opens my heart to appreciate the most you can out of any situation. Find joy in the little things 🙂 

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
As a beauty professional, I strive to always think creatively and see a blank canvas with all my guests. I specialize in “lived-in” balayage techniques, blondes, haircutting, men’s grooming and a variety of hair extensions. It so important for me to constantly add to my “Tool Belt”
