Check Out Liz Lawrence’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Liz Lawrence.

Hi Liz, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I am a Nashville, TN native and I have been residing in Colorado Springs since 2018. My boyfriend and I moved to Colorado Springs so he could pursue his career in the cannabis industry. I just happened to find my vintage community and business partner here in the process.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Moving to a new state is never a smooth road you have to meet new friends, find good restaurants, get to know your community, and more. Thank God for Instagram I was able to find my first pop-up event called Revival Vintage. At the pop up I met a girl named Chelsea Drew which is my business partner today. If she never asked me if I wanted smoke after we set up our booths I don’t think we would be where we are today as business partners and best friends.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I would categorize myself as an artist and creative. I enjoy creating physical things and experiences for others to enjoy and be a part of. I am known for thrifting, creating upcycled and wearable art, my graphic design skills, and hosting events for the community. I am most proud of my growth over the past year, I have accomplished a lot of things I’ve written down in my journals over the years that have came to fruition. I can attest that following you passion and purpose can be stressful yet rewarding. Finding that life balance of self-care, communication, and commitment is key. I am still working on it myself and growing every day. What sets me apart from others is my work ethic. I am a very hard working individual and it was instilled in me at a young age. Anything I do I am always going to give it my all. Over these past few years, I have promised myself to only do things that are aligned with myself, goals, and aspirations.

What makes you happy?
Doing what I love every day makes me happy. Being able to make a living off my passion and purpose is the greatest feeling. I am able to be a part of a collective community that is able to create financial freedom and collaboration. Creating a collective community can have its ups and downs but you have to be willing communicate, grow and learn together to build a solid team.
