Today we’d like to introduce you toJenelle Harrison and Paul Lasko.

Hi Jenelle and Paul, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Paul and I (Jenelle) travel to New Orleans many times a year and have really adopted it over time as our second home! One day my son asked, “Mom can we get a Cajun sno today”? I immediately started searching the state of Colorado for an authentic New Orleans-style sno ball establishment. To my surprise, there were none to be found! At that moment the idea of The Snowy Flamingo took flight! Step by step we created our idea, perfected our product and built our food truck from the ground up! As we near our one-year anniversary of being open to the public we are constantly astounded by the amount of support and love we consistently receive. Being voted the best dessert in Castle Rock 2022 blew our minds! We are extremely grateful for the amazing community we live in and everyone who has become a part of our Snowy Flamingo flock!!!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The Snowy Flamingo is such a passion for us that the road has not felt difficult, however, we are constantly learning and growing in order to always present an exceptional product and amazing customer service!!

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
We believe that the energy and personality that we bring to our food truck along with our one-of-a-kind product sets us apart. Jenelle creates new fancy flavors every month which include creative mixtures of syrups as well as toppings! We have over 60 syrup flavors on the truck which we make in-house! A unique menu item we have is a snoball flight! This gives the customer the ability to try 5 mini 4 ounce sno balls at a time!

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
Our very favorite part of our city is the absolute support for small businesses! People definitely go out of their way to try new and upcoming food trucks and other establishments! The least favorite part of our city, considering we are a snoball truck, is bad weather!!!
