Daily Inspiration: Meet Deborah Galvao

Today we’d like to introduce you to Deborah Galvao. Them and their team share their story with us below:

Strybo is a Portuguese self-taught Bass, hip hop, Pop and EDM producer and artist, who’s signed to some big labels such as Magic Records, EDM.com, Pantheon Select, Diversity Records, Hybrid Trap and many more. She’s counting with over 5 million streams all over platforms and support from big producers and DJs from around the world such as Krewella, Nicky Romero, JVNA, SAYMYNAME, Teri Miko, LaRiots, Bailo, ATLIENS, 12TH Planet and many more. Strybo is the creator of SoulStep Subgenre which is a mix between jazz and Future Bass. She also likes and is known for mixing several music styles and EDM genres. Strybo’s dream is to be a role model for girls who want to pursue their dreams in the music field, more precisely as music producers!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I can say that has been a roller coaster. There’s always very good stuff but bad as well, but I keep going! I’d say one of the struggles are definitely being an indie artist and a self-taught producer since you always need money to invest in yourself, for knowledge, for promotion, etc.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a music producer and artist – who’s also a graphic designer and a digital marketeer- under the name STRYBO. I’m known for my sound especially the Helicopter bass where you can listen on my tune “Gas Up” and Soulstep which is an EDM subgenre that I created mixing jazz, future bass and dubstep. My brand as Strybo is also for what I’m known because of always wearing glasses, due to my astigmatism and myopia, and wearing a Carharrtt beanie on Winter and Adidas hats (caps and Trefoil Adicolor). I’d the thing I am most proud of is my progress so far and the love I’ve been getting these past 6 years! I’d say that what makes me unique apart from my music, is my brand!

The love for music, connections, buildup relationships with my fans, my family and friends because without them I wouldn’t be what I am today!
