Exploring Life & Business with Nicole Stephens of Sea Change Holistic Healing

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nicole Stephens.

Hi Nicole, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
When I first began my spiritual path I was in a toxic relationship where I started meditating quite a bit. I was able to end that relationship by receiving the clarity that we weren’t meant to be together. When I broke off my last relationship, everything began to shift massively. I was meditating frequently and began to become connected with spirit receiving messages that guided me to join a Holy Fire Reiki 1 and 2 certification class. 11 days after (July 11th, 2019) becoming certified in Holy Fire Reiki 1 and 2 I had a near-death experience. I was hiking in the La Plata canyon outside of Durango, Colorado. I lived in Durango for close to five years before this accident. The near-death experience story: I fell close to 25ft off of a waterfall and broke my pelvis, jaw, and cheekbone all on my right side. I was with one other person and my dog Mystik. When I fell, my friend had to go look for help. He found a family, a dad, and 3 daughters that helped to keep my head out of the water. It took Colorado Flight for Life 3 hrs to find the location we were at.

When I was found, I wasn’t breathing on my own and had a hematoma where my pelvis broke but the ice-cold water actually saved my life and kept me from completely bleeding out. I was flown to Lakewood where I received all my surgeries and my blood transfusions. I spent a week in the hospital and walked out with my walker seven days later. This really shook me up but I knew surviving this that I had some sort of purpose to fulfill. So I began to go deeper into my mission. I had to move back home to my home state in Oklahoma to recover from my accident. I became serious with my new partner and we made a plan to move to Denver, Colorado within the next couple of years. During my time in Oklahoma, I was working in Health Care during the pandemic as a CNA and Endoscopy Tech while still practicing my Reiki. I also became certified as a Holistic Health Coach and Holy Fire Reiki Master during my recovery. With the help of my energy healing abilities, I was snowboarding within 5 months, running within nine months, and completely back to normal by 12 months. By the end of my recovery hitting the 12-month mark, the universe had plans for my partner and I to go ahead and make the jump to move to Denver. It was unexpected but we had an opportunity and we took it. When we moved to Denver, I began to focus on cultivating and creating my Reiki business.

As I was working towards that, my partner and I shared an interest in working with plant medicines and had our first ayahuasca ceremony a couple of months after living in Denver. This medicine helped me to come to the realization that I was keeping myself small and that there was more to explore and offer than just Reiki. I began to expand my craft by working with other healers playing the role of a student until I was able to cultivate and create my own divine and unique healing session. My sessions now include Shamanic healing, Channeling, Light codes, light language, releasing blockages and releasing trauma. I do still continue to expand. The biggest process for me was working through my own trauma, patterns, and programming that I have taken on since childhood. Once I was able to start breaking free, my gifts and channeling would reveal itself more and more. I offer my clients a program where they can do just this. Breakthrough their own barriers in order to be in alignment and have a true connection with themselves. We are so much more than what our minds could ever imagine. The path to self-realization is the work that I do and now help my clients on the path through spiritual coaching and energy healing sessions.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Getting in my own way. Moments of disbelief and denying my power and abilities.

I provide both in-person and Remote healings/coaching in order to reach those I am meant to work with all over the world.

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
I am constantly putting myself in positions to expand and receive more growth on my path in order to help others. I am definitely wanting to connect with healers and shamans outside of the country in order to learn from them. I am considering looking into becoming certified in hypnotherapy. I would love to create a platform for seekers to connect for daily classes, meditations, healings, etc that involves bringing in more healers and teachers.
