Today we’d like to introduce you to Erin Stebbins.
Hi Erin, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I have always been an entrepreneur. I have always craved growth and exploration, and and helping people in new ways.
Since I was a little girl I can remember selling jewelry and weird art, and having a ton of fun while doing it.
I was also fortunate enough to start receiving massage and bodywork from the age of 8.
Bodywork has always been an integral part of my life, so when I graduated high school, it was a very natural decision to go to school for massage.
I began practicing massage in my own practice immediately after graduating and realized how deeply gratifying the work really is.
I love meeting new people and playing a detective to help people discover more about their own bodies and the causes of their pain to help them live lives that are more full.
Even now, maybe especially now, 12 years later, I’m still continually learning more and loving this journey. My practice is thriving, and I’ve expanded to hire a therapist as well.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I think one of the biggest challenges I have experienced is constantly facing my own internal dialogue and doubts and fears about my own success. Nobody else can do this work but myself, and nobody else can learn these lessons. I think being an entrepreneur requires constant diligence to your own thoughts and feelings. It’s much easier to not do the work, but it’s way less fun.
As you know, we’re big fans of True Balance Pain Relief Clinic. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
True Balance Pain Relief Clinic has been helping clients since 2010, and we specialize in chronic pain relief, low back pain relief, and recently started adding in somatic coaching. We believe strongly in the power of the body-mind connection and do our very best to treat the whole human.
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
I feel like I was definitely a goofball growing up. I always had an entrepreneurial spirit and was constantly trying to sell really weird stuff to my neighbors and friends. I was always reading and learning a lot, and that much has not changed in adulthood. I was fortunate enough to grow up in Breckenridge Colorado which is just idyllic and beautiful. I was able to go play in nature every day, and I am always grateful to have had that experience as a kid.
