Today we’d like to introduce you to Kristen Schnake.
Hi Kristen, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My lifelong athlete and fascination with what is possible through food and movement have led me to today; helping women fuel and move their bodies in line with their goals. This passion led me to a Kinesiology degree from Colorado Mesa University and different Fitness & Nutrition Studies/Certifications that have played a part in the foundation of who I am as a coach.
Being an athlete, I have learned that much of our success is nutrition, lifestyle, and of course fitness based AND that with small, yet substantial tweaks made, an individual can enhance performance, build muscle, lose fat, and feel their best. Today, working with women in Colorado, many have goals to hike that “14er”, run that race, or just look their best, and this past (and continuing) knowledge has helped me better help them.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My journey to coaching today has had twists and turns, each playing a part in the coach I am. Starting out, I had the opportunity to intern in the University Rec Center Setting, then had a great start in a box gym setting that gave me lots of experience with diverse groups.
In the box/corporate setting, I learned I could not build a business or career to support myself there. That led me to an independent contractor model. This foundation has been a game changer in how I view my career, in serving others, making an impact, and building a life I do not have to escape from.
As you know, we’re big fans of Peak Results. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
As a Fitness and Nutrition Coach, I get the opportunity to serve with:

My bread and butter are simplifying this health game. So many “diets”, quick fixes, and boot camps exist. These yield results momentarily, but not long-term. My forte is weeding through those and making your health journey a lifestyle that gets you results long-term.
