Today we’d like to introduce you to Olga Avezbakiev.
Hi Olga, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
I hope my story inspires other people. I wanted to show people that everything is possible.
You have to be a believer, no matter what. Never give up on yourself no matter what hardships life throws at you.
Just be you and do you! And most importantly never stop learning.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My life has never been a smooth road. I came to the United States from the capital of Ukraine – Kyiv, in 1994. I became a US Citizen soon after. As a young woman, I had to overcome many challenges and obstacles. Living in a communist country, witnessing the fall of the USSR and its aftermath, migrating to the US, and adjusting to life here. I came to America without any English language knowledge. When I first came to America we came to this country without any money.
I remember as a child going to school in the US, kids were so cruel and made fun of the way I was dressed since my mom could not afford to buy me decent clothing. This experience taught me how to save up, value money, and have an appreciation for the things you have in your life. This pushed me to work harder on myself all my life and to be better than I was yesterday. But most importantly it taught me to always be kind since you never know what someone is going through.

I am a social media influencer/digital creator who loves beauty and everything beauty related. I believe we are all unique and need to embrace that.
Our uniqueness makes us who we are and we all need to be comfortable in our own skin. I love makeup and experiencing different looks. I am also a big believer in taking care of your skin and your body. I’m very passionate about fitness as well as fashion which helps me express my fun side.
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
From a young age, I was passionate about photography and loved capturing moments on videos for my family and friends. I was also always very responsible, punctual, and finished what I started.
This work ethic helped me later in life to help me accomplish my goals and dreams.
