Hidden Gems: Meet Elan Schwartz of B4b Talent and Entertainment

Today we’d like to introduce you to Elan Schwartz.

Elan Schwartz

Hi Elan, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
I started Bands 4 Bands Entertainment back in 2009 with the idea of musicians supporting other musicians and doing it ourselves.

Working in the community and finding a way to strengthen the music scene by providing support and giving the artists a platform to play their music as well as my own knowledge of being in a band and years and years of providing support to venues, musicians, bands, and other entrepreneurs in the region!!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road in the music industry is never a smooth one at all. There are always peaks, plains, plateaus, and many obstacles.

The key in my opinion to any success is of course sticking with it and staying true to who you are no matter what anyone says. You have to have a budget and you have to be able to withstand the ever-changing industry.

Thanks – So what else should our readers know about B4b Talent and Entertainment?
We specialize in Talent Buying, Marketing, Consulting, Merchandising, and more.

We are most known for throwing some of the most awesome events on this side of the Mississippi. We are most proud brand-wise that we have stayed true to ourselves and remained independent and have continued to be successful across the front range in our mission to Unite the Arts and entertainment industry.

I would love the readers to know that we are very much still active in the music industry and look forward to hearing more about their stories, hearing their music and finding ways to help, grow, and build a career that could be possibly unnoticed with the right help.

To the nationals and agencies who continue to use us, we really appreciate the 13 years of continued business and are very proud to keep this wheel going with all of our amazing friends in MUSIC.

We’re always looking for the lessons that can be learned in any situation, including tragic ones like the Covid-19 crisis. Are there any lessons you’ve learned that you can share?
One thing that I will say is that after the Covid-crisis, I learned that being diverse keeping things fresh, and not letting anything sway you from persevering was most important, at least for me when it came to surviving in an industry that frankly even the biggest dogs did not know if they would survive. I look forward to seeing each of you at the next B4b Concert. See you on the stage!!!!
