Hidden Gems: Meet Ana Stariha of Howdydoo

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ana Stariha.

Hi Ana, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I am originally from Minnesota and graduated from Concordia University in St. Paul. From there, I knew there was more that I wanted to do with my life so my boyfriend (now husband) and I packed up and moved to Colorado.

I took a position as a marketing assistant for a mortgage company and worked my way up. As times got hard with the market and hours were being cut, I decided to move onto a different approach and opened up my own business where I could help different industries grow.

That is when Howdydoo was created. We are a digital marketing and social media company that helps small to large businesses create a footprint within the world.

Can you talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not always, in the mortgage industry, it was hard. Hours being cut, layoffs happen, but in those hard moments when you think you could lose everything – there is another door that opens.

Being a business owner there are some learning curves, but it has opened me up to many opportunities and experiences that will last a lifetime.

We are a digital marketing and social media company that helps small to large businesses create a digital footprint. We offer anything from custom monthly content (we create, post, and manage on your behalf), paid ads, logos custom flyers or graphics, and more!

We work with individual budgets so that means we are more affordable. We learn your business, who you are, and how you want your voice to speak within these items so that it feels like YOU are the one writing it.

We are proud that we can not only help the larger businesses but also your local shops that are starting. We love running social media organically but do offer paid advertising services.
