Rising Stars: Meet Patty Candelario

Today we’d like to introduce you to Patty Candelario.

Hi Patty, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Growing up in a small town in Colorado, I was raised untraditionally on sunshine and astrology. I have always found the metaphysical mysteries far more interesting than anything. From this precious starting point, I found my calling to work with people on the mundane and spiritual planes. Tarot is the perfect tool for this work! It took time, patience, incredible books, and amazing teachers to gain an understanding of the meanings of the cards as a foundation, and layered in with my intuitive gifts, I knew I wanted to share this with everyone! I am grateful to read at local venues, spiritual fairs, and through the Zoom world. I am so grateful to everyone I have met along the way.

A few years ago, I knew it was time to get down to really studying Astrology. I have learned so much about myself. I have learned to be gentle or laugh a little when I see a planet placement or an upcoming event. It is my wish for others to feel this kind of liberation too. I feel it is important to know what you are talking about when you are working with people as their lives are unfolding. I want to share just how one-of-a-kind-special a person is on the day they were born – and yet, still connected to the whole universe. Everyone should see and hear their story to understand how beautiful and unique they are.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
This question has a yes and a no, I feel it depends on the road – it can feel like driving up a trail road in the mountains: technical and so beautiful at the same time. A rewarding challenge is the work I do is demanding. This work demands dedication to showing up in the very best frame of mind. I work with human beings with human hearts and feelings. I sit alongside them through joys and heartaches, life directions, and times of reading roadmaps. This is a dedication to building trust and to building a relationship that continues onto the next reading.

While this is a heart-centered business, the growth of Aries Moon Shoppe is based on receiving a good experience and the strength of the relationships formed. I take the sanctity of my work seriously. I challenge myself to continually learn more and more and more about this work I do. The biggest challenge and obstacle to me is the actual work of learning and experimenting with how to continue to effectively market Aries Moon Shoppe outside of word-of-mouth referrals. Practice, practice, practice, and seek resources that can help with the behind-the-curtain part of creating a thriving business.

I am the owner of Aries Moon Shoppe where I offer tarot and astrology readings. As a professional metaphysical practitioner of tarot and astrology, my work revolves around seeing the beauty in life and the beauty in people. My work is about sitting with where you are in life, through celebration or sadness, we sit with the truth of where we are right now, at this very moment. I love what I do. I truly enjoy and treasure the connection created when sitting with someone for the first time or their 20th time. I am very proud that I have given hundreds of readings.

It is truly rewarding when I see my eyes light up during reading or when the box of tissues slides across the table. This means answers are found, calmness is found, and a sense of purpose is found. I am excited to see more and more people are open to getting a reading. I love watching a calmness settle over who I am reading for as they take away a gift that is only theirs. I take my gifts very seriously because when you sit with me in all your vulnerability, you will be taken care of.

I pride myself in the fact that I have studied Tarot and Astrology for years and am continuing to study as there is always more to uncover. This solid foundation of knowledge, allows my innate intuitive gifts to step forward and take a reading deeper. I am very proud that my readings offer the chance to see and understand how beautiful and unique each person is. What pure joy! I’m a professional tarot reader and astrologer.

What’s next?
I have done readings for people all over the world and love every minute of my time with them and I would love to be a part of life’s journey of more people who are interested in discovering themselves through astrology and tarot. I am finding more avenues for people to find me so we can work together.
