Conversations with Kristen Noble

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kristen Noble.

Kristen Noble

Hi Kristen, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I grew up performing in musical theatre from the age of seven and developed a deep love for the performing arts. I loved being onstage, doing countless productions around my hometown and won awards for my performances in high school. I haven’t left theatre behind, but I’m currently focusing on making my music. Looking back, I wrote songs my entire life, dreaming of releasing them someday, but I didn’t know how to go about that and never thought much of it as a career path.

I have anxiety, which can make it hard to pursue such an uncertain career, but I never lose sight of why I’m doing this, which is the music. Music is everything, and it helps with my anxiety, too.

Over the pandemic, I realized I could turn my passion for songwriting and performing into a career. I recorded my album “Lyrical Therapy” and continued learning more about pursuing a career as an artist. I applied to the songwriting program at Belmont University in Nashville and got in, and now I’m working every day to hone the craft. I’m excited to keep writing, recording, and performing and see how my sound and artistry continue to develop!

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I love creating music, from writing to production, vocal style to visual aesthetics. I am very involved in the process of making my art, and it becomes an extension of me. I released my first album, “Lyrical Therapy,” in 2022, and I am very proud of it, but I think I have grown a lot in finding my sound since then.

In November, I released my latest single, “The More We Give,” which holds a special place in my heart. Some people I met inspired me to give to my community, and I wrote it to inspire others to give back, too. My next single, “Stars on the Ceiling,” comes out on February 16th, and I am thrilled about it! It’s my favorite song I’ve recorded yet, and I think people will relate to the bittersweetness of growing up.

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
I think to succeed in the music industry, you need to have a strong work ethic, which I get from my dad, and you need to believe in yourself so strongly that it’s almost delusional, which I get from my mom.

My parents taught me to dream big, work hard, and never give up, and I am so grateful for their endless support, which is the reason I’m able to be where I am and chase where I’m going.
