Conversations with Wayne Lackey

Today we’d like to introduce you to Wayne Lackey

Hi Wayne, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started just like anybody else, all I knew was that glass was shiney and fragile. Glass came natural to me. It was like big breakable legos,(if you will) I love seeing people’s dreams become reality, putting together what is in their heads, and standing back and being able to say, I helped finish your home. I love what I do everyday and will for a long time!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Has not always been smooth but I have had the best teacher in life in the form of “what not to dos”. They aren’t always fun times in those moments but it shows you alot, even how to better your self and to stay calm and think outside the box.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
My bread and butter is custom showers and enclosures. I love seeing the big glass rooms come together. We have done everything from small windows to gigantic showers and wine room enclosure, custom mirrors, and hand/guard railings. What sets us apart is no matter how big or small of a job or if you are a repeat customer or one timer, you will always have a name and never be a number. You will always get the best quality no matter what.

Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs or other resources you think our readers should check out?
I love the book “Surf When You Can” by
Brett Crozier

It really put into prospective of taking care of myself as well as everyone else.

Extreme Ownership

This book taught me how to be a better leader.
