Hi Erik, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
AWAKE Festival started 4 years ago as a continuation of Yoga Rocks the Park and Friday Night Yoga Club. We want people to have the time to drop in fully to their true peaceful nature over a whole weekend so they can bring the good vibes back into the world.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Although, AWAKE Festival is a wonderful yoga and wellness event I’ve been surprised by how much effort it takes to spread the word. Over the years though more and more people are enjoying AWAKE Festival and spreading the word to other like-minded folks.

The 4th Annual AWAKE Festival, Sep 13-15 2024, is a weekend-long Yoga + Wellness festival to reset, rejuvenate and restore. Centered in the cozy mountain town of Evergreen, CO, at Buchanan Park, the AWAKE Festival brings 50 + yoga and holistic health workshops, nature hikes, live music, kirtan, conscious dance, camping, great food and so much more.

What were you like growing up?
I’ve always been attracted to uncovering my own true nature and helping others to do the same. If more of us relate to our true unlimited peaceful nature and reduce ego confusion the world will be a better place.
