Conversations with Samuel Richardson

Today we’d like to introduce you to Samuel Richardson

Hi Samuel, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Growing up, the art of photography and capturing ideas while being able to create a special moment with certain techniques has always fascinated me. Whether it’s capturing the sky on my phone, taking pictures of my golden retriever, or whether it’s just taking photos of my friends and having fun, photography has always meant something greater to me. 2 years ago, I would end up receiving my first camera, the Canon Rebel T7 EOS. What I didn’t know was that this camera would spark a love for photography that I never realized I had in the first place. Being able to capture creativity and preserve moments forever through mirrors and light is something I could’ve never imagined being so important. The idea of being able to make people feel emotions towards a picture has always encouraged me to keep going. Which ultimately lead me to wanting to start up my own sort of brand focused around photography.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Being a Junior in high school, it’s going to be hard to want to make a business work while also doing school. This requires a lot of extra time being used in order to make sure my grades are good while also using my free time to practice photography. Without a reliable transportation method, it also hinders my ability to further my creativity with my photos.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
For my art, photography helps me better understand the world. Capturing pictures of landscape and nature with creativity. Fellow peers have also complimented me for my photography work. I am proud of being able to capture things other people can’t at my age, being able to use creativity and angles of perspective to my advantage. I’m also proud of being able to use my photography to share it with other people. I believe what sets me apart from others is my perspective and different ways I can capture certain scenes.

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
A hard work-ethic is one of the most important factors of having a successful business. In order to reach a larger audience, it’s also important to be creative and take lots of photos in order to improve talents.
