Conversations with Diva Cup

Today we’d like to introduce you to Diva Cup

Hi Diva Cup , please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Polly, Maxx and Maggie all met through Radio 1190 a few years ago. While none of us knew each other that well, we all thought it would be fun to play together and before we knew it we had a show booked and had to scrap together 5 songs for a set. Our lovely bass player addy came a bit later in a friend of a friend type beat.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
In the beginning it was a bit rough trying to find somewhere to practice. There were many temporary locations that strained us quite a bit. The most difficult was practicing in Radio 1190 late at night. We’d have full school/work days and then have a 10-12 am practice and that was no fun. This then became Maggie parents basement in Denver, then Addy’s grandparents garage in Thornton, and now we practice in Maxx’s house in Boulder.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m not totally sure how to answer this, we’re a all female punk band from Boulder Colorado, we rip , we rock, we roll idk fuck we love our lives and playing Diva Cup is so much fun. W’ere just grateful we’ve had this ride and can’t wait for the future Oh also stream our album Sassy that’s pretty sweet too!

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
Well… punk is already dead so…
