Inspiring Conversations with Daisy Dong of Acupuncture Lifeology Inc.

Today we’d like to introduce you to Daisy Dong.

Daisy, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?

Years ago, when I was ready to apply for college, my mother recommended that I give up my thoughts of going into diplomacy or international trade and studying only Chinese medicine. Her rationale was #1, and the former two fields had to depend on the government or a company providing me with a job. If there is no offer, I will be unemployed. #2 Practicing Chinese medicine could help people and my own health. Acupuncture is one of the major components of Chinese medicine. She predicted 50 years later that acupuncture would be globally favorable because of its low cost, limited equipment requirements, and that it could be practiced in almost every environment. My mom added again: I could work as long as I wished if my hands were fine. Through years of Chinese medicine practice, I have successfully treated many people. I appreciated listening to her wisdom. I have accumulated rich knowledge in treating many illnesses with herbal medicine and acupuncture, particularly in cancer support therapy, migraine headaches, gastrointestinal diseases, and post-traumatic conditions. I also sharpened my skills in Tongue Diagnosis in Chinese medicine. Open the link: https://youtu.be/EngZhty8kx4?si=4OIni-0kLy4hJEfl

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?

Yes. I was a medical provider in a local hospital for 22 years, participated in research projects, taught Chinese medicine in medical schools and two acupuncture colleges, and was a Chinese medical clinician for 35-plus years. I am happy about my career path.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
