Conversations with Cally Chastain

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cally Chastain.

Hi Cally, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I was an executive assistant for many years in the ski and tech industries. After a few years hiatus to raise my boys, a personal assistant position caught my eye. I got the job and worked for the couple/family for 6 years. It was in that position that I fine tuned my skills and met many wonderful people that opened my world to being a lifestyle manager.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I would say it’s been a smooth road. I’ve had just enough work at the right time. Because of my personal contacts and relationships, I’ve been able to stay as busy as I’ve wanted to be.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’ve had a career spanning over 30 years of being a personal or executive assistant. Known for getting things done, I excel in orchestrating high-end dinner parties, meticulous travel planning, remodel management, and seamless relocation services. I have an eye for detail and an extensive network, I serves as a vital liaison between clients and vendors, ensuring that every project and event meets the highest standards. From managing lavish parties to streamlining everyday tasks, I am dedicated to enhancing clients’ lifestyles with unparalleled professionalism and grace.

I’m most known and most proud of my great relationships/partnerships that help me do my job efficiently every day. I believe everyone should be treated equally and with the utmost respect. I deal with many vendors and household staff; because of our mutual respect, we are all a great team.

I set myself apart by being respectful and courteousness to others, and by being highly efficient. I do not want to waste my clients’ time or money.

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
Denver and it’s surrounding communities are very special. The mountain views, the climate, the opportunity to be outside year round, are all great attributes to our beautiful area. At one point we had moved to another state. During that time, I had a connecting flight via DIA. I remember getting off the plane and walking down the terminal, and I getting an overwhelming feeling that Colorado was home and that we needed to move back.

As for what I least like about our city, I guess that it’s a city. I-25 is nutty. I like that our current mayor is passionate about making the downtown area a desirable place to dine and go to events.
