Daily Inspiration: Meet Cyndi Ann Langley

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cyndi Ann Langley.

Cyndi Ann, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
“You talk to dead people?”
That was one of the most common things I heard in the early days of practicing spirit mediumship. Back then, we didn’t have
Google, and the word *medium* wasn’t widely used, or understood. I had to be careful about who I shared my “secret” with.

Today, spirituality and all that surrounds it have become much more accepted, even embraced. It’s been beautiful to witness the evolution.

Hello, beautiful soul. I’m Cyndi. I’m a spiritual medium, assist in spiritual development, retreat awakening facilitator, and death doula. It is always with deep gratitude and reverence that I serve Spirit.

My journey began in childhood, when I could see and sense Spirit. However, it took me many years to fully embrace this path. For a long time, I tried to make sense of the experiences, or even pray them away. Eventually, though, my curiosity returned and led me to dive deeper into the study of mediumship. I’ve been blessed to train with respected teachers, including at the Arthur Findlay College in England, and I continue to grow and refine my connection.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I could write a book about the struggles I’ve faced, but the truth is, I’m grateful for every one of them. Each challenge opened me in a new way, offering a fresh perspective and a chance to grow. Not always right away, of course. Sometimes the growth doesn’t come until years later. My journey has always been deeply personal and spiritual, the two constantly weaving in and out of each other. Like everyone else, I’m trying to find my way through it all. The biggest obstacle I’ve faced has always been understanding myself, learning who I am, and accepting my authentic self. By being my authentic self, I have learned to trust my journey.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a spiritual medium, and within that calling, my work branches out into assisting spiritual development, energy work, end-of-life doula support, providing self-awareness workshops, and awakening retreats. It’s incredibly humbling to work with Spirit to help my clients integrate their soul into their human experience, while supporting them in remembering who they truly are. Individuals then learn to walk through life with both their soul side and human side in full awareness and alignment.

What I’m most proud of is the inner work I’ve done, and continue to do. I know the importance of practicing what I teach. I understand it’s not always easy to be human, which means that often we need to reset ourselves. I guide with compassion and love to help my clients reset. I think it’s also important to stress that we are all in experiencing our spiritual growth in progress.

As for what sets me apart, maybe it is that I don’t feel separate at all. I genuinely believe we are all One, and that one of the biggest things we are here to experience is that connectedness. We are all uniquely ourselves; however, we are also all part of the Universal Consciousness.

How do you think about happiness?
Learning from life experiences makes me happy. It brings every emotion, including joy, love, wonder, and even challenging emotions, such as frustration, anxiety, and sadness. When navigating life’s emotions, it is an opportunity for growth and learning for spiritual growth. I find happiness in exploring new places, being in nature, connecting with Spirit, and spending time in community. But more than anything, my heart is most nourished when I’m with the people I love. My three incredible boys, who insist they’re men now, but will always be my boys to me, my amazing life partner, Albert, my beautiful, authentic friends, and my incredible clients. Just thinking about them brings me instant joy.

For me, happiness flows from within and radiates outward. It is a deep, soul-filling joy that comes from being present. I am grateful the Divine has created so much beauty for us to experience, every smell, every view, every feeling. There’s endless magic in simply being alive and noticing it.
