Heather q, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Foothills Integrated Health & Aesthetics was born out of a shared vision between two healthcare professionals who wanted to do things differently. Rachael Hunt, a nurse practitioner and Army veteran, and Heather Black, a registered nurse with a diverse background in trauma, neurology, psychiatry, and OB/GYN, came together with a common goal—to bridge the gap between functional medicine, primary care, and advanced aesthetics.
We saw a need for a place where patients could receive comprehensive, personalized care that addressed both their internal health and outward appearance, all under one roof. Instead of sending people to multiple providers for different needs, we wanted to create a true one-stop destination—where optimizing hormones, improving gut health, and addressing chronic conditions could be seamlessly paired with treatments that enhance skin health, restore confidence, and promote natural beauty.

From the very beginning, our mission has been clear: to treat the whole person, inside and out, using a combination of modern medicine, proven aesthetic techniques, and a genuine, patient-centered approach. We’ve built Foothills Integrated Health & Aesthetics on the belief that health and beauty are deeply connected—and when you nurture both, you empower people to look and feel their absolute best.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Owning a business is never a perfectly smooth ride—it’s a constant mix of challenges, unexpected turns, and moments where you have to figure things out as you go. There are long days, tough decisions, and times when it feels like you’re juggling a dozen things at once. But what makes the journey so much easier—and even enjoyable—is the team you have beside you.

Our team shows up every day ready to support one another, go the extra mile for our patients, and bring positivity into the office. On the medical side, we focus on getting to the root cause of health concerns rather than just treating symptoms. This includes optimizing hormones, improving gut health, supporting weight loss, enhancing energy, and preventing disease through personalized, integrative care.

On the aesthetic side, we offer a wide range of treatments—like Botox, dermal fillers, microneedling, laser therapy, facials, and advanced skin care—to enhance natural beauty and improve skin health.

We’re proud to be a women-owned business that has combined all aspects of health and beauty in one place, so our patients can take care of all their needs under one roof. What we’ve built is more than just a clinic—it’s a place where science, medicine, and artistry meet to empower people to feel confident, healthy, and cared for.

What are your plans for the future?
Looking ahead, we plan to continue growing and adding even more services that allow our patients to get everything they need in one location, all while providing the highest quality care possible. Our goal is for every patient to feel comfortable, supported, and cared for from the inside out. In the future, we plan to open additional locations so we can continue to grow, expand, and bring our unique approach to even more people.
