Today we’d like to introduce you to Jason Anderson.
Hi Jason, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I grew up in Farmington, Utah, a quiet town nestled against the Wasatch Front where the mountains were my playground and service was a way of life. At 19, I stepped away from everything familiar to serve a two-year volunteer mission among Native American tribes, focusing on humanitarian efforts that forever shaped my view of the world and deepened my desire to help others.
When I returned home, I followed a calling that had been on my heart since childhood — becoming a full-time Firefighter and Advanced EMT. Few things compare to the adrenaline of rushing into the unknown to protect life and property, but the real reward has always been the quiet moments — holding someone’s hand in crisis, showing up when no one else can.
However, I soon faced a hard truth: while firefighting gave me purpose, it couldn’t fully provide for the life I envisioned for my family. So I started building something of my own. In the off hours, I launched a business in the medical wellness space, distributing high-end therapeutic devices designed to help people heal without drugs or surgery. It started small — just me, a laptop, and a lot of grit — but over time, it became a powerful second mission: helping clinics, providers, and individuals access innovative tools that restore quality of life.
Now, I balance the chaos of fire service with the strategic focus of entrepreneurship, driven by a single goal: to serve others, whether through emergency response or empowering health and wellness on a broader scale.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Not at all — the road’s been anything but smooth. As a firefighter and EMT, I’ve seen some of the most heartbreaking moments life has to offer. You train for the physical demands of the job, but nothing really prepares you for the emotional toll it takes — the calls you can’t forget, the faces that stay with you, the weight you carry home after the sirens go quiet.
For a long time, I tried to just “tough it out” — to stay strong, bury it, move on. But that silence turned into anxiety, depression, and PTSD that started bleeding into every part of my life. It took hitting a personal breaking point for me to finally get help — and that’s when everything began to change.
Through open communication, therapy, and the right modern medical support, I’ve found a healthier way forward. Healing didn’t happen overnight, but it did happen. And now I’m passionate about helping others — especially first responders — know that it’s OK to talk about mental health. It’s OK to get help. Strength isn’t about shutting down — it’s about facing your pain head-on and refusing to let it define you.
My story isn’t just about building a business or serving my community — it’s also about breaking stigmas, encouraging others to speak up, and reminding people that healing is possible.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
By day, I’m a firefighter and Advanced EMT — a role that’s taught me how to stay calm in chaos and make life-saving decisions in seconds. But outside the fire station, I’ve built a business that reflects another side of my mission: helping people heal and reclaim their quality of life through non-invasive, drug-free medical wellness devices.
My company specializes in high-performance therapeutic technologies like focused shockwave therapy, Class IV laser systems, PEMF, and other modalities used by clinics, chiropractors, physical therapists, and even elite athletes. These aren’t just gadgets — they’re powerful tools backed by science that help people recover from chronic pain, neuropathy, sports injuries, and more without surgery or medications.
What sets me apart is the bridge I’ve built between hands-on emergency care and long-term wellness. I’ve seen what people go through at their worst — and I want to be part of their healing process too. I’m proud of the relationships I’ve built with healthcare providers, the lives I’ve seen changed through our devices, and the trust clients place in us to deliver not just products, but results.
I think people resonate with my story because it’s rooted in real-world experience. I’m not just selling equipment — I understand what patients and providers are going through. I’ve been there. And I’m proud to stand at the intersection of public service and innovation, helping people get better in every way I can.
We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
Most people know me as a firefighter or a business owner — but what they often don’t realize is how broad and hands-on my background in rescue work really is. In addition to firefighting and emergency medical care, I’ve specialized in a variety of technical rescue disciplines: swiftwater, ice, mountain, open water, vehicle extrication, machinery entrapment, confined space, and rope rescue. I’m also a ski patroller in the winter time and a scuba diver.
Another part of my life that surprises people is my passion for severe weather. I’m trained and certified as a storm spotter through the National Weather Service, and each year I head out to the Great Plains to document tornadoes and extreme weather systems. It’s part science, part adrenaline — but mostly it’s about respect for nature and a desire to understand it better.
I have a deep passion for documenting the raw power of nature. I also travel internationally to study and photograph active volcanoes — there’s something humbling about standing at the edge of that kind of force and capturing it through a lens.
These experiences might sound unrelated, but they all come from the same place: a deep respect for nature, a drive to help others, and a desire to see and understand the world in ways most people never get to. Whether it’s responding to emergencies or capturing the earth’s most extreme phenomena, I’m drawn to intensity — and to finding calm and clarity in the middle of it.
