Aubry Hoffman shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Aubry, it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: What are you most proud of building — that nobody sees?
It’s something you can’t really see in a photo or capture in a quick scroll. But you can feel it when you’re around me.
It’s the peace in my home and my nervous system. It’s being an emotionally available, in-tune mom to my son. Being present, not just physically, but emotionally and energetically. That’s the real success.
People often say I seem calm, positive, radiant. But what they don’t always realize is that it’s been my life’s work to get here. I didn’t just become this way. I’ve had to overcome a lot. I’ve had to unlearn old patterns, heal, and make different choices over and over again.
While a lot of people are chasing external success or recognition, what I’ve been building is a life that feels truly good on the inside. A home that feels safe. Days that feel soft and joyful. Relationships that feel nourishing. That’s what I dreamed about as a child. Not fame or attention, but feeling loved and free.
And I created it. That’s what I’m proud of.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m an intuitive, which means I read energy. I don’t predict the future, but I receive clear visuals, impressions, and guidance that are specific to the person I’m working with and the situation they’re in. It’s often this surreal experience where I find myself saying things and then wondering, how did I know that? But at this point in my work, I’ve learned to trust it. There’s a space I enter with each client that feels sacred and the guidance that comes through is what needs to be heard.
Each week, I lead something called an Intuitive Journey, a guided experience that helps people reconnect to their own inner knowing. I also host offline experiences where we take a full week away from the apps, the noise, and the distractions, so we can listen to the quiet truth underneath it all.
Right now, a big part of my work is centered on something I believe deeply: we must learn to stay human in the age of AI. As machines take on more of our day-to-day tasks and interactions, it’s becoming more essential that we stay connected to what makes us human our intuition, our soul, our inner voice. That’s what I want to help people reclaim. Not just to feel better, but to navigate this new world with clarity, authenticity, and power.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
I think one of the biggest things that shaped how I see the world was being homeschooled until college. Especially growing up in the 80s, it wasn’t common at all, and it gave me this deep sense that I didn’t have to do things the way everyone else did. I wasn’t inside a traditional system, so I didn’t absorb a lot of the unspoken rules about how life is supposed to go. I had more freedom to follow what felt right to me.
That early experience really shaped how I move through the world. It made me comfortable with doing things differently, even if no one else understood it at the time. I learned to trust my own rhythm, my own timing, and that’s stayed with me ever since. It gave me the confidence to walk my own path and to not be afraid when that path looks nothing like the one most people are on.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Honestly, there’s not a week that goes by where I don’t feel like giving up in some way. I think that’s just part of being human, especially if you’re someone who feels deeply or is doing inner work. It’s not like you ever reach some magical place where everything’s easy or you stop struggling with your own patterns or stop getting heartbroken by the world around you.
What’s shifted for me is that I’ve learned not to believe those voices when they show up. It’s not about trying to silence the negative thoughts in my head anymore. It’s just about choosing not to give them my full attention. They’re going to come and go, but I don’t have to live my life based on what they say.
That’s the real growth, I think, not perfection, but the practice of staying with yourself even when it’s hard.
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
One of the biggest misconceptions I see in the spiritual world is the belief that there’s a specific checklist you must follow to be “spiritual enough.” Whether it’s meditating a certain way, adhering to a particular diet, finding the perfect teacher, or maintaining a strict routine, this idea suggests that spiritual growth is something you earn through external effort. This belief, understandably, drives a lot of industry sales.
I also notice that some of the messaging can become exaggerated, promising that you can manifest every desire or completely eliminate pain and suffering. But that’s not the reality most of us live.
What I offer instead is a more grounded perspective. I believe everything we seek is already within us. The true work lies in quieting the internal noise and shedding distractions, so we can reconnect with the healed, empowered version of ourselves that has always been present.
You don’t need to invest endless time, money, or follow any guru or group. Spiritual awakening is about recognizing the truth you already hold, that you are whole, and far more powerful than you may realize.
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What do you understand deeply that most people don’t?
I don’t know that I have answers most people don’t, but I do feel like I deeply understand intuition in a way many don’t. I’ve learned to distinguish the quiet, wise voice of intuition from the noise of trauma, fear, and old conditioning. It’s something I’ve made my life’s work to tune into the true wisdom of my heart and soul.
Through my own experiences, failures, and challenges, I’ve come to really understand how much we suffer physically, mentally, and emotionally when we ignore that inner guidance. When we’re out of sync with our intuition, life can feel overwhelming and heavy.
What I see over and over is how much aliveness and ease wells up inside someone the moment they start truly following what their soul is asking of them. That’s something I’ve come to know deeply how life opens up when we listen.
