An Inspired Chat with Jae Wes of Denver

We recently had the chance to connect with Jae Wes and have shared our conversation below.

Jae, it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
Prayer, Gym, Tea

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Jae Wes is a multi-talented artist whos uniqueness in his Song writing, Lyrical & Vocal performance and Cello Performance leads to capture the attention and souls of many. The captivating sounds is what keeps Jae Wes on his mission to put food on the table for his family with which he believes is his God given gift. Jae just dropped a new Single expressing his gratitude as an artist and with life called ENJOY. The Cover art of this new single looks to be speculated as a roll out to a project. Jae Wes has been speaking of a new EP and were excited to see when he is set for release!

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who taught you the most about work?
my dad was a hustler. He worked his way to owning million dollar companies and even becoming a brain-surgeon. Growing up, money was no object. But the older I became & with my dads professions decreasing I learned money isnt the most important thing. It is also not was determines the value of an individual. Society puts pressure on this due to social media and flex culture. But when God provides everything you need. I have made him my priority and the Loved ones around me who love me for me.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
Dont stop your hustle or Ideas for anybody.

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? Is the public version of you the real you?
You are always the villain in someone elses story. That said, I wouldnt be surprised with how being an artist it is easy to be judged. So I dont pay no mind to what the public cares to view about me as long as they undertsand my intentions especially with music is to spread gratitude and be a positive outlet to my fans. If you know me, You understand I am peace.

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What do you understand deeply that most people don’t?
It is not about you. It is not about me. Everyone has something going on bigger than our perspective of what we assume people go through. No one will care more about your problems than you. So how dare I ever believe someone should pay more attention to what I have going on if Im not providing an escape from their troubles?
