We’re looking forward to introducing you to Christopher Moore. Check out our conversation below.
Christopher , it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: What makes you lose track of time—and find yourself again?
Something that will continuously cause me to loose track of time is lack of structure. If I do not have structure in my life, minutes, hours, most times even days will go by without my realizing.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Christopher Moore. My partner Quatia and I run a photography business call Blu Photography in Fort Collins, Colorado. We specialize in all types of work from runway shows and couple shoots, to hosting themed photoshoot gatherings for other photographers and models to get to know one another in the industry. What makes our company different from most is that we don’t specialize in one thing, We do it all.
Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
What breaks the bond between people is trust and communication. Lack of either one causes disaster and confusion. The only thing that could restore a broken bond, is understanding and learning from the mistake.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
When is there not a time? Life throws you curves. Sometimes even hard balls. Everyday can be a constant battle and some days are worst than others. But what gets me through it is I know the feeling cant last forever.
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. Whom do you admire for their character, not their power?
Someone I admire for their character and not their power was my grandfather. He was the father figure in my life and he taught me so much. Even though he passed away at 74 which was above the average living age of his time period, I always felt it was too soon.
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
If I knew I had only 10 years left to live, I would immediately get my passport, and start traveling the world no matter the cost.
