Daily Inspiration: Meet Amanda Knight

Today we’d like to introduce you to Amanda Knight.

Hi Amanda, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My journey into the photo booth business started very organically. My daughter is a wedding photographer, and over time, she kept mentioning how often couples and guests were asking if she also offered a photo booth. That really got me thinking.
As a family, we had always talked about wanting to start some kind of business together, something fun, creative, and people-centered. The photo booth idea felt like the perfect fit. It allowed me and my husband to spend time together, to work together as a couple, support our daughter’s business, and be part of celebrations and milestones in people’s lives.
We started small, mostly doing weddings alongside our daughter’s photography work. But word spread quickly, and soon we were getting inquiries for all kinds of events, birthday parties, baby showers, corporate events, graduations, and more. We’ve grown so much from where we started, and it’s been such a rewarding experience. Every event is different, and we love bringing a little extra joy and entertainment to each one. It’s not just about taking pictures, it’s about creating memories.
I’m really proud to have built something that brings people together, and even prouder that we’ve done it as a family.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Overall, it’s been a pretty smooth road! Like with any technology-based business, we’ve had a few bumps here and there, learning new equipment, troubleshooting on the fly, but nothing we couldn’t handle. It’s actually been fun growing with the business and learning as we go.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
We provide high-quality photo booth experiences for all kinds of events, weddings, birthdays, baby showers, corporate parties, and more. Our booths offer physical prints, GIFs, boomerangs, and everything is fully customizable to match each event’s theme or style. We’ve also recently added a 360 video booth, which has been a huge hit! It captures dynamic, slow-motion videos that guests absolutely love, it really takes the experience to the next level and has given us the opportunity to do more events that are outside.
What really sets us apart is the quality of our equipment and the experience we bring to each event. Everything we use is first-class, from the lighting to the cameras to the final prints. But beyond that, I take a lot of pride in making sure people feel comfortable, have fun, and look great. We hear all the time that guests love how I help pose them and keep the energy up, that’s something I’m really proud of. It’s more than just a booth, it’s an experience people remember.

How do you define success?
I define success by how people feel during and after our events. If guests are laughing, having fun, and walk away with a photo they’ll cherish, then I know we’ve done our job. One of my favorite things is seeing the nostalgia it brings to the older generation when they get that physical print in their hands, it reminds them of the photo booths they grew up with. At the same time, it’s so fun to watch younger guests, who are used to everything being digital, light up when they get to hold a real photo. That mix of old and new, and the memories that come with it, is really special.
