Today we’d like to introduce you to Chelsea Brough.
Hi Chelsea, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Hi! I’m Chelsea, a proud Colorado native, born and raised in Boulder, as well as a wife and mom to two beautiful daughters, ages 2 and 4. They’re my daily reminder of why home and community matter so much, and they inspire the heart I bring into my work every day.
I’ve built my real estate career around genuine connection and deep local expertise. Having grown up here and now raising my family in this community, I understand the nuances of our Colorado neighborhoods — from schools and community events to market trends and lifestyle amenities. My goal is to guide clients through each step of the process with clarity and confidence, whether they’re buying their first home or transitioning to their next chapter.
With a background in high-level client service, I value communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving. I take pride in creating smooth, informed transactions and making sure every client feels supported and understood from start to finish.
When I’m not helping clients, you’ll usually find me enjoying a great glass of wine or getting in a workout at my local F45 gym — both help me recharge and stay grounded for the busy days ahead.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s definitely been an interesting journey and far from an easy one. I got my real estate license during COVID after losing my job in the hospitality industry, like so many others at that time. It was a chaotic season, and the housing market was unlike anything we had ever seen. Shortly after, I became pregnant with my first daughter and then welcomed my second just a year and a half later. Balancing motherhood and building a business from the ground up has been both humbling and empowering.
In hindsight, it’s truly the greatest thing that could have happened to me. It pushed me to create my own business and opened the door to a career where I can be both ambitious and present, running a successful business while still being there for my daughters as they grow up.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I’m Chelsea, a proud Colorado native and your preferred Realtor here along the Northern Colorado Front Range. I work with clients in Longmont, Frederick, Lafayette, Mead, Boulder, Westminster, and the surrounding communities, helping them find not just a house but a home and a sense of belonging.
I got into real estate during a big turning point in my life, and it’s truly been the best decision I’ve ever made. I love what I do, guiding people through one of the biggest decisions of their lives, celebrating milestones with them, and building relationships that last long after closing day.
What really sets me apart is how personal I make the process. I’m deeply involved in every step, from staging and marketing to negotiations and all the behind-the-scenes details that make a transaction smooth. I’m known for being hands-on, detail oriented, and creative when it comes to marketing homes. I treat every listing as if it were my own.
Brand-wise, I’m proud that my business has stayed authentic and community focused. “Your Preferred Realtor” isn’t just a tagline, it’s truly how I approach what I do. I’m passionate about giving back through local events and volunteering, especially with organizations like the Colorado Fallen Hero Foundation.
At the end of the day, I want people to know that I care deeply about my clients, my community, and the experience I create for each person I work with. Real estate is personal, and that’s exactly how I approach it.
How do you define success?
To me, success looks like happiness, love, and balance. It’s being proud of the work you do and having people in your life who fill your heart.
I feel really lucky that real estate gives me all of that. So much of this business is about creating value and showing up for people, and that never feels like work to me. It feels like a privilege. Every time I get to help someone through a big life moment, I’m reminded that I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be.
