Tae Silvers shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Tae, a huge thanks to you for investing the time to share your wisdom with those who are seeking it. We think it’s so important for us to share stories with our neighbors, friends and community because knowledge multiples when we share with each other. Let’s jump in: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
The the first 90 minutes of my day is very productive and busy. I usually like to wake up early around 8 AM to hit the gym and work out. I feel like starting the day with an intense work out sets the tone for the whole day. So after that, I usually go home to eat and shower. Then I take my pups out for a walk or to the park for an hour or two. I try to start every morning off like this. I feel like it makes my rest of the day easier.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Well.. Hola, Hello, Greetings. My name is Tae Silvers. I’m a Denver native who still resides in the city. I’m a influencer, Model, Foodie and also a local rapper. I work and make most of my content on TikTok. I speak on many topics as in Denver sports like the Denver Broncos and Nuggets. I speak on things that are going on in the world that I care about. Sometimes politics or elections. I speak about things going on in my state of Colorado and in my community. I feel like I provide a unique point of view on the topics I speak about. I’m also honest, relatable and passionate. I feel like that draws people in. Also, being a Denver native. I feel like My perspective is valued. I bring a different vibe and energy that’s appreciated. Currently I’m working a new music which should drop here in the next month, I’m also always working on new TikTok content. Always staying busy.
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
I feel like lies, cheating and not being reliable breaks bonds between people. All those things require honesty and an amount of effort. I feel like its hard to restore bonds that are broken. It will take time to heal, constant honesty and a understanding and a effort on both ends. It takes time but I feel like broken bonds can be restored depending on the damage.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Where I come from.. you see a lot of people struggling and suffering. I come from poverty. Coming from that type of struggle there’s no other options than pushing through and keep fighting. I learned that no matter how hard life gets, its not over until you give up. I learned that even when you hit rock bottom, you can still fight for a better life. Coming from poverty, Coming from struggle and suffering you learn how to adjust and keep moving.
Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? Is the public version of you the real you?
I love this question. I have to say the public version of myself is the real me. I feel like I wouldn’t be able to turn the real me off if I had too. I’m always genuinely and unapologetically myself. This is how I was raised. No matter who I’m around to always stay true to myself. This is very important because at the end of the day I would much rather be at peace with myself than at peace with the world and at war with myself. I also think being yourself is way easier than faking or pretending to be something or someone you’re not
Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. When do you feel most at peace?
In this current time in history, I feel like peace is very important. Things can get so busy and hectic. I feel like I’m the most at peace is when I’m with my family or when I’m alone. My family brings me peace and good energy. When I’m alone, I like to spend time thinking and writing music. This is my ultimate peace. Music clears my mind and releases stress.
