Today we’d like to introduce you to Adrienne Kronovet.
Hi Adrienne, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started Ameliora to solve a problem I felt every day, wanting clothing that looked polished but moved with me and fit real life. Coming from a multi generation garment making family, I understood fabrics, fit, and construction, and I set out to create the perfect women’s shirt using performance materials that are machine washable, wrinkle resistant, and designed to last. Today, Ameliora has grown into a multi channel brand with a loyal community, expanding product categories, and a clear mission to help women buy better, buy less, and feel confident wherever life takes them.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely has not been a smooth road. I faced early skepticism breaking into wholesale as a new brand, navigated supply chain disruptions, and made mistakes that became expensive lessons. Those challenges ultimately sharpened my decision making, reinforced the importance of quality and discipline, and helped me build a stronger, more resilient business.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Ameliora?
Ameliora is a women owned apparel brand built around the idea of buying better and buying less. We specialize in elevated, performance driven wardrobe staples, most notably our signature women’s shirts, designed with technical fabrics that are machine washable, wrinkle resistant, four way stretch, and made to move through real life. What sets us apart is our deep focus on fabric innovation, fit, and longevity, combined with a hands on, founder led approach to design and production rooted in my multi generation garment making background.
In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
Over the next 5 to 10 years I see the apparel industry continuing to shift toward sustainability, thoughtful consumption, and performance-driven everyday wear. Consumers are increasingly prioritizing quality over fast fashion, seeking pieces that are versatile, durable, and ethically made, and I expect brands that can marry technical innovation with timeless design to stand out. There will also be greater transparency around sourcing and supply chains, more demand for circularity and repairability, and a stronger focus on inclusivity in fit and representation. For Ameliora, this means continuing to push for materials and processes that respect both people and the planet while delivering wardrobe essentials that women reach for daily.
