Today we’d like to introduce you to Christina Hudson.
Hi Christina, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
There’s always been a thread of understanding for me around the archetype of the healer and the helper. I grew up looking to traditional models of how one might help heal others and the world—first as a child wanting to care for animals as a veterinarian, and later, in my late teens and early twenties, exploring holistic health and aspiring to become a nutritionist and eventually a naturopathic doctor.
Instead I went on to pursue a degree in Ecology and Social Change, feeling called to help the world by transforming larger systems. Personal health and well-being had become a central interest for me in my late teens, and after a spiritual awakening around the age of 21, I began feeling called to healing beyond the physical body and mind. I learned Reiki and started exploring various spiritual traditions and systems.
It wasn’t until my final semester of undergraduate study, while studying spirituality and sustainability in India, that I made a connection that ultimately led me back to myself—the understanding that real change begins within. Shortly after returning to the United States, through a series of synchronistic events, I found myself living in Boston (with no intention of staying long-term) and embarking on a new journey that led me to begin studying within an ancient authentic mystery school lineage.
At the time, the school had only been open to the public for a handful of years, and very few people knew such a path existed. I had experienced a series of intuitive nudges and visions suggesting that I would find an accelerated path to the self-mastery I was seeking. I didn’t yet have words for it, but once I met this mystery school guide, I knew I was exactly where I needed to be.
From there, I received the Life Activation session (then known as the 22-Strand DNA Activation) and then became a First-Step Initiate through the Empower Thyself Initiation. That’s when my life truly began to expand, and all my desires to help others and contribute to the world came into focus.
Along the way, I went back to graduate school to become a therapist, focused primarily on somatic (body-oriented) psychology and expressive and holistic therapies. I’ve been a practicing therapist for over 15 years and bring a deep understanding of psychological processes to my work as a spiritual guide.
I began the path of an initiate more than 20 years ago, and there have been many twists and turns along the way. Yet it has remained the foundation from which my self-understanding, my ability to wield my power, and my capacity to share my gifts with the world have all been born.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s been quite a journey. It hasn’t always been smooth and definitely not easy, but it has been rich with growth, learning, and deep transformation. I have experienced many deaths and rebirths of the self along the way.
I’ve always been someone who hasn’t shied away from depth or from becoming greater versions of myself. There have been several chapters in my life so far, some smoother than others. I can honestly say that I have experienced a great deal of suffering and pain, both physically and mentally/emotionally, at various points in my life journey.
I was born highly sensitive and deeply introspective. During the first part of my life, I absorbed and observed the thoughts and feelings of those around me and often struggled not to feel overwhelmed by the world. I didn’t always have words for what I was feeling or thinking because I was perceiving so much. Art and nature became the first places I would turn to help me make sense of myself and find peace.
For much of my early life, I didn’t really know how to stay present in the world without escaping in some way in order to feel okay. It wasn’t until I began walking the path of initiation within the mystery school tradition in my mid-twenties that I started to feel more grounded in myself. Through this path, I developed a stronger sense of my boundaries and a deeper understanding of my true wants and needs in life.
In my younger years, I cared so deeply about helping others that I didn’t fully know how to stay connected to myself or how to effectively show up in the world to create the change I desired. The path of initiation has helped me anchor my soul’s purpose into my physical experience. It’s given me a sense of direction and helped me express who I truly am more effectively.
I always knew I had important work to do in my life, and this path has given me the tools to become the conscious creator and director of that reality.

I am a Certified Guide, Healer, and Teacher within the ancient Hermetic lineage of King Salomon. In its modern form, this lineage has been made available to the public for the past 30 years through the Modern Mystery School tradition. This lineage remains unbroken and dates back more than 3,000 years in a traceable form, though the teachings themselves are timeless.
As a guide within this lineage, I support people who are ready to step onto a path of accelerated growth, light and personal empowerment—people called to become leaders of their own lives and to be of service to the greater whole. This is primarily facilitated through a path of progression, or initiatory steps, that awaken access to one’s greater mission and soul blueprint.
We are born into a world filled with conditioning and programming about who we are, what we are supposed to be, and how we are meant to express ourselves. My role as a spiritual guide within this lineage is to help those who choose to walk this path to grow beyond these limitations and undertake the deep inner work required to live in alignment with their soul and spirit.
The reasons people come to me are as unique as the individuals themselves. Some are suffering mentally, emotionally, or physically. Some have never considered themselves spiritual but feel called toward something greater. Others have achieved a degree of worldly success yet sense there is a deeper, richer reality they have not yet experienced. While each person’s journey is different, they all share a common desire: to grow beyond their current understanding of themselves.
In addition to teaching the two-day Empower Thyself class and initiation, I also offer foundational classes in metaphysical principles and practices, as well as ancient wisdom teachings. These include developing spiritual intuition, learning sacred geometry to raise the frequency of your living and working environments, practicing safe and effective methods for astral travel and expanded awareness beyond the conscious mind, and meditation classes to connect with your higher self.
I also offer one-on-one healing sessions and activations designed to help clear and heal the layers that stand in the way of you becoming your true self. The first step I offer most people is the Life Activation session. This session awakens your unique purpose and innate gifts, helping you remember who you are and why you are here. It starts a process that gives you access to your greater potential and begins to actualize your inner power. At its essence, the work I do is about helping you remember your divinity and then live from that knowing.
I believe that we are inherently good at our core, and it is my sincere desire that each person comes to experience and live from that place. My work is dedicated to helping you reconnect with your unique magick and ignite the creative spark within, so that you can bring more of your authentic self into your daily life and live with more joy and fulfillment. If enough people choose to live from their higher expression, the world will be a very different place. The authentic mystery school lineages have served to make that a reality for humanity.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
I’ve touched upon this in previous questions, but in summary, I was a quiet, sensitive, imaginative, and curious child. I remember most adults regarding me as sweet and cooperative, but I also had a rich and complex inner world that I didn’t often express outwardly.
I felt deeply connected to plants, animals, and nature. I could spend hours engaged in creative play outdoors in the New England neighborhood where I grew up. As a child of the 80s and early 90s, it was not uncommon to find me outside until dusk, playing with friends or immersed in my own imaginary world.
From an early age, some of my greatest passions were creative writing, reading mystery fiction, and drawing. I was also naturally kinesthetic and danced classical ballet for several years before moving on to organized team sports.
During my preteen years, I developed a keen interest in exploring the world and became fascinated by getting to know people, cultures, and ways of life beyond those I had grown up with. That curiosity eventually led me to travel extensively in my early twenties, an experience that greatly expanded my perspective and understanding of myself and the world.
