Hi Carol, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I am Carol Sigala, business owner of Skin and Brows By Carol I Denver and I’m so happy to share my story. When I was 18 years old, I made one of the hardest decisions of my life and I left my family behind in Mexico and moved to the United States with hope in my heart and a dream of creating new opportunities. I didn’t arrive with an easy path waiting for me. I worked in restaurants for long days and nights, with no weekends off with no days off and no car, but taking every opportunity I could while learning a new language and adapting to a completely different culture
I was born and raised in Chihuahua, Mexico. At a very young age, I became a single mom , and from that moment, my kids became my greatest purpose. They have been my biggest challenge, my greatest blessing, and the reason I have never stopped believing in a better future.
I learned English in college in Las Vegas, knowing that every lesson brought me one step closer to the life I envisioned, I’m moved back to Denver Co, and I decided to go to Esthetician School, the best decision of my life.
There were moments of uncertainty, exhaustion, and fear, but giving up was never an option. My kids were watching me, and I wanted them to see that no dream is too big when you are willing to work for it with faith, determination, and resilience.
I’ve always believed that beauty is about so much more than appearance. Since I was young, I found joy in making others smile and helping them feel confident. That passion eventually became my calling. Today, as a licensed esthetician and professional Bridal Makeup Artist, I have the privilege of helping women recognize the beauty that already exists within them.
The most beautiful moments in my career are not just the finished Makeup look or glowing skin they are the smiles, happy tears, and confidence I witness when a woman sees herself in the mirror and feels beautiful. Being part of a bride’s wedding day, one of the most important moments of her life, is a responsibility and an honor that I never take for granted.
What makes my work different is simple:My business is made it with love and effort and I truly love what I do. Every woman who sits in my chair is treated with genuine care, respect, and attention. I want my clients to leave feeling not only beautiful, but also empowered, confident, and valued. For me, beauty is about creating an experience that reminds women of their worth.
My journey has taught me that success isn’t measured only by achievements it’s measured by the lives we touch along the way. Every obstacle I’ve overcome has shaped the woman and business owner I am today.
My vision is to continue growing my business, expand my bridal beauty services and one day build a beauty brand that reflects excellence, authenticity, and heart. More than anything, I hope my story reminds others that where you begin does not determine where you can go. With hard work, perseverance, and passion, even the biggest dreams can become reality.
This is only the beginning of my story, and I cannot wait to see where the journey leads next

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t been easy at all, I think being a single mom it was really challenging but my kids are grown 21 and 19 years old and I think I did a good job as a mom
Having 3 jobs all the time, go to school and pay all the bills by myself. But every sacrifice was worth it.

I specialize in beauty:
I love to do brow design, Korean lash lift, skin treatments and Bridal Makeup and I think these services goes hand in hand in getting a beautiful makeup.
I think what makes me different is I think skin care is the new makeup and I take care of my clients skin, lashes and brows and for the wedding day I do the Makeup and it looks fabulous.
I would say my style is more old money and elegant makeup.
Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
I don’t believe in good luck, I believe in work hard, determination and good decisions is the key, we can have bad days but we can’t never give up ❤️ if we have health, if we can breathe, walk we are very blessed
