Today we’d like to introduce you to Geraldine Convento.
Hi Geraldine, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m an entrepreneur who has founded and led multiple businesses across online marketing, film, hospitality, and music. Together with my team, I serve as a strategist and technical architect, designing digital platforms and systems that help businesses expand, streamline operations, and create better customer experiences.
Although my career has evolved in unexpected ways, the thread connecting it all began when I was 13 years old. That’s when I discovered two passions that have shaped my life: rapping and building websites from scratch. At the time, I had no idea those interests would eventually lead me into entrepreneurship, technology, storytelling, and creative collaboration.
While my work has taken many forms over the years, the common thread has always been helping people and businesses find clarity. Whether through business strategy, SEO, coaching, interviewing, making music, or my study of Vedic astrology and Astrocartography, I’m fascinated by recognizing patterns. I make complex ideas accessible, and create systems that help people and organizations make more informed decisions.
Today, my work lives at the intersection of technology, creativity, and communication. I believe some of the most meaningful breakthroughs happen when we effectively communicate ideas across disciplines. I’ve built my career around doing exactly that. More than anything, I’m motivated by sharing knowledge in ways that empower others to see new possibilities, solve problems, and move forward with greater confidence.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
There have definitely been chapters in my life that completely changed my direction. I grew up as the youngest child in a strict household, and naturally, I became a rebel. I’ve always had a deep curiosity and a desire to explore. For me that looked like taking every elective that interested me in college and immersing myself in the music industry at a young age.
At 21, my life came to an abrupt halt when I experienced a manic episode and was hospitalized for seven days. I spent the next two and a half years on medication, and for me, that period felt incredibly limiting. Everything stopped, I wasn’t building a career or pursuing my passions… I felt like my life had been put on pause.
With careful consideration, I made the decision to stop taking the medication. Personally, I never believed the bipolar diagnosis fully reflected what was going on and I haven’t experienced another manic episode since. Looking back, I see that chapter differently than I did at the time. I had been living a fast life and it forced me to slow down, ultimately changing the trajectory of my life.
Today, I’ve built a meaningful life as an entrepreneur and creative. That experience taught me that growth isn’t always linear, and some of life’s greatest challenges can become the catalyst for living with greater intention.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Through my companies, Reverence and MeetGeraldine, I work alongside a talented team to help organizations strengthen and expand their digital presence. Our work spans marketing strategy, SEO, website development, user experience, brand positioning, as well as long-term front-end and back-end web platform technical support. Rather than approaching projects as one-time deliverables, we become collaborative partners, designing digital ecosystems that continue to evolve as our clients grow.
While technology is at the core of what we do, our approach is deeply human centered and collaborative. Every organization has a story, unique goals, and every digital experience should reflect its purpose while making it easier for people to connect, learn, and take action. Whether we’re building a custom platform, improving search visibility, or solving complex technical challenges, our goal is always the same: create thoughtful, sustainable solutions that serve both the organization and the people it reaches.
Outside of client work, I enjoy interviewing others, writing books, creating music (as the rap artist Realism*), and sharing what I’ve learned through speaking, and content creation. Those interests continually shape how I approach my work, reminding me that the best solutions often come from connecting ideas across several mediums.
What I’m most proud of is the network we’ve built over the years. The trust, camaraderie, and long-term relationships that have grown from our work together mean far more to me than any single project.
How do you think about happiness?
What makes me happiest is my sense of inner peace. I’ve learned that fulfillment often comes from simple, intentional moments: moving my body, cooking a great meal, or spending time with the people who know me best.
I love cooking because I can experience the results right away through sight, smell, and taste. It’s a nice contrast to the day to day work I do, where meaningful projects often take an extended period of time.
The relationships I’ve built over the past 20 years also mean a lot to me. There’s something incredibly fulfilling about being truly known by the people in your life and knowing they’ll celebrate your successes, speak highly of you when you’re not in the room, and support you through life’s challenges.
Professionally, I find the greatest joy in collaboration. I love working alongside my team, creating opportunities for them to grow, and watching them develop new skills and confidence throughout their careers. Seeing someone reach a milestone because they were given the opportunity to learn and contribute is just as rewarding to me as the success of the project itself.
