Today we’d like to introduce you to Morgan Stanton.
Morgan, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I have always been a creative, DIY kind of person. For my kids’ birthdays, family celebrations, and all the little moments in between, I was the one finding a way to make it feel extra special. Creating meaningful details has always been something I loved but for a long time, I did it simply because I enjoyed it.
Over the last two years, I felt a strong pull to find something that I truly loved, could help provide income for our family, and would eventually give me more time at home with our two kids. I tried a few things first. I made cookies my husband laughed because after the first two batches, he knew it was not going to be my thing. They tasted great, but I absolutely hated the process. Then I tried sourdough…and killed my starter.
When my sister and now brother-in-law got engaged, I wanted to make their celebration feel special. I had always ordered banners for my own kids’ parties because I did not have a lot of time, but this time I decided to try making one myself. It turned out amazing. I made another banner for a baby shower, and someone told me, “You should sell these you’re so good.”
So on April 27, 2026, I made one post. That first week, I received five orders. It was overwhelming, exciting, and honestly a little surreal. But as the orders came in, I began realizing it was never just about the banners. I was creating pieces for people, celebrations, and milestones that I genuinely loved being part of.
I truly believe the way Banner and Brush by Morgan has grown is a God thing. I decided to fully jump in, even when it felt intimidating. One day, I asked one of the girls in the drive-through at Oo-de-Lally Coffee in Crystal Valley in Castle Rock and if you have not been, you need to, whether they had someone who painted their windows. She told me the owner had been looking for someone and that my timing was perfect. I left my information, the owner called me four hours later, and four days after that I was painting my very first window display for their Fourth of July setup.
I was nervous, but I also knew God had opened that door for a reason. From there, the business has continued to grow through banners, window art, balloon displays, backdrops, signage, and event styling. I have learned to ask for opportunities, create opportunities, and challenge myself daily. I may not know how to do every single thing at first, but if I say I can, I will figure it out and give it everything I have.
Banner and Brush by Morgan is built on creating personal details that make people feel celebrated and turn everyday spaces into memorable moments. Everything I create is designed to be seen, created to be remembered and I am so grateful that what started with one banner has turned into a business that lets me create joy for my community.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, it definitely has not been a smooth road. There have been plenty of long nights, shifting schedules, failed attempts, learning curves, and more paint type changes than I can count. Building a business while balancing family life and my nursing career has required a lot of flexibility, trial and error, and faith.
This has been a transition for my whole family, too. I often paint after the kids are asleep, and my husband has now officially taken on two jobs one of which I do not pay him for, but he just does because he is so loving and supportive. From helping with projects and setups to supporting the dream behind the scenes, my family has been incredibly loving and supportive. I truly could not do this without them.
In July, while painting windows, I fell from a ladder and needed surgery due to a broken foot. It completely paused my window art work in what would normally be my busiest season as fall approaches and I will not be back painting windows until late September. At first, it was hard to accept because I am someone who likes to keep moving and saying yes to opportunities.
But honestly, I think God was slowing me down a little. This unexpected pause gave me time to network, connect with amazing people through opportunities like the Parker Chamber of Commerce, and gain perspective from other small business owners. My customers have also been incredibly supportive and understanding, which has meant more to me than they know.
It has been a setback, but not the end of the story. I will be back in no time more grateful, more motivated, and ready for a busy fall season. I cannot begin to imagine what the future holds for me, my business, and my family, but I am so thankful for the people who are walking alongside me as I find out.

Banner and Brush by Morgan creates custom, hand-painted and styled details for the moments people want to remember. I started with hand-painted paper banners, but the business has grown into window art, balloon displays, backdrops, welcome signs, event signage, chalkboards, party styling, and custom pieces for birthdays, weddings, businesses, schools, and community events.
I specialize in taking someone’s theme, vision, or even just a few Pinterest ideas and turning it into something personal that feels like them. I love creating pieces that make people stop, smile, take a picture, and feel celebrated. My slogan, “Designed to Be Seen. Created to Be Remembered,” truly represents the heart behind my work.
I think I am most known for colorful, custom-painted banners and window art that feel fun, intentional, and unique not copied and repeated. I am also known for being someone who will figure it out. If a client comes to me with a vision they cannot quite put into words, I love helping bring it to life and creating something better than they imagined.
What sets me apart is that every project is personal to me. I do not see it as just a banner, a window, or a backdrop. I know it may become part of a child’s birthday photos, a bride’s wedding day, a business’s first impression, or a family memory they will look back on for years. I care deeply about the little details, and I want each client to feel heard, excited, and proud of what we create together.
What I am most proud of is the community that has formed around this business so quickly. The support from my family, customers, fellow small business owners, and local businesses has been incredible. I am proud that I have built something rooted in creativity, connection, faith, and making people feel celebrated and I am excited to keep growing it.
Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
There are so many people who deserve credit for the growth of Banner and Brush by Morgan. This business may have my name on it, but it is absolutely not something I have built alone.
My husband is truly my greatest support system. He loves me deeply and unconditionally, always shows up, and somehow never says no to my crazy ideas. He has stepped into projects, setups, late night painting sessions, and the behind the scenes work without hesitation. I could not do this without him.
My kids are my biggest reason why and the absolute light of my life. Everything I am building is ultimately for them and the life I hope to create with them.
My extended family and friends have been so generous with their time, especially when I need childcare so I can take on an event, paint windows, or continue growing the business. My best friends deserve a special thank you too the ones who show up while I am window painting with sunscreen, water, snacks, lunch, and coffee. You know who you are, and I love you.
I am also so thankful for my non blood family the people who have made arches for me, shared my posts, shared my business, encouraged every new idea, and loved me through every step of this journey.
