Today we’d like to introduce you to Cassie Chacon.
Cassie , we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I always did nails growing up. Saw on a middle school field trip to Warren tech I could do this as a career. I was able to go to Warren tech in high school, go part time, so I got my license while I was still in high school and started working as a nail tech my senior year of high school. Been doing nails for 14 years. I worked 10 years in an actual salon, and then 4
Years in my own studio now.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I think the hardest part was honestly working in the salon. And having to deal with everything they wanted us to do. Yes starting a business isn’t easy. But I worked as a manger in the salon and ran the social media and did a lot of the training at that salon. So I knew what I needed to do to right away as I switched over to starting my own business.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I specialize in natural nail care. I don’t do any acrylics or dips. I help you achieve long, strong, and healthy nails. I don’t use a drill. I only do gel polish, structured gel manicures, gel x extensions, and pedicures.
In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
I would love to move into a bigger space. I also have my aesthetician license. I would love to incorporate that into my business. As well as continue to grow my nail business and help people continue to achieve their nail goals.
